An attractive detached hideaway surrounded by glorious rolling countryside, the Visit England Gold award winning Rose Cottage sits deep in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds in the village of Huggate. This picturesque location is well-known for its charm, with The Yorkshire Wolds Way conveniently passing through this peaceful village, and the East Yorkshire Coastline and the ancient city of York within easy reach.
Sleeping up to six guests, Rose Cottage is perfectly situated for discovering popular seaside towns and villages, such as Filey, or head inland 30 minutes west to York. It is safe to say there is something for all ages not far from the cottage doorstep; a days hiking followed by a relaxing meal in the local pub, York Railway Museum with the grandchildren or a day at Beverley Races is sure to be on your list.
A thoughtfully styled traditional Yorkshire home, this cottage features a delightful conservatory and a well-kept rose garden. Step foot into the farmhouse style kitchen to be embraced by the warmest of welcomes. A delightful dining area enjoys garden views via french doors.
