The Long Barn is the last property at Highford Farm and has far reaching views to the sea. It was very clean and well maintained and particularly well equipped for a self-catering stay for a week. My dog loved the fully enclosed side garden and was bemused by the donkeys braying.Recommended.

Thank you very much for your lovely review, Hilary. I’m really happy you, Rosie and your family had a lovely stay ☺️
I would love to welcome you again in the future.
The cottage was warm, welcoming and homely. The kitchen was well equipped with good cooking facilities. The water was hot, the shower powerful and the beds comfy. The living area was also very comfortable. The secure garden was perfect for our dog and the side garden gave beautiful views over the coast and Lundy Island. I recommend The Long Barn and hope to return in the not too distant future.

About the host

I currently live in Bristol with my two dogs but I’ve always had a soft spot for the North Devon coastline as I’ve holidayed here since I was a teenager. When I get chance, I love to surf and the location of The Long Barn is perfect as we’re close to Bude and Westward Ho! Croyde and Saunton aren‘t too far either. The chance of owning a property at Highford was too good to miss, and I hope to be able to spend time down here where the dogs and I can enjoy the beach and all North Devon has to offer. We’d love to welcome you to our barn, and hope your furry friends enjoy it as much as mine do.
Why they chose this property
North Devon has so much to offer from the South West Coast path and its award winning beaches which are perfect for just chilling for the day or water sports. The barn is located in close proximity to several absolutely gorgeous beaches, many of which are dog friendly
What makes this property unique
The Long Barn is set in the most peaceful location but also not far from beautiful walks and surfing beaches.
