This property is disgusting and filthy. When we complained about it and said we would not be staying, they offered to have someone come & clean. Silly us to expect it to be clean when we arrived at the appointed time. The host is not very willing to give us a refund.

Essentials were missing upon arrival, toilet paper and paper towels.Apartment was cleaned, but not in great condition from a low quality remodel. I wouldn't book this place again. The price was not great for the overall condition and frustration.

First and Last Time Using VRBO

Pros: -This property more or less matched the photos and description advertised. It is very minimalist and fairly clean (but I feel "gorgeous" is a stretch).-The location is very central, about halfway between the Edgware Rd and Marble Arch tube stops, just off the Edgware Road. -3 bathroomsCons:-Check-in requires an international phone call to the landline that the owner provides, giving them a 30-minute heads up that you are arriving soon. Text message would have been preferable but was not an option, and we were waiting around outside the building for approximately 10 minutes before the host showed up to let us in.-There is no AC. It is on the 4th floor of an apartment building, and when we arrived in 90-degree temps, the windows were all closed and it felt like a furnace. -Clearly something had died in the walls, and we were treated to an awful stench of death for the entire stay, despite requesting help for this problem. We were told they couldn't do anything about it while we were there and that they'd try to "mask" the odor, which they did not do.-Shower stall is tiny and difficult to access, and the shower door wouldn't shut properly. -1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, handsoap and shampoo but no other amenities. No paper towels. No washcloths. Very barebones.-Seems that no VRBOs are allowed there (based on signage in the lobby)-Location, while central, felt a bit questionable at night. (My teens were harassed walking home around 11pm.)
