Two beautiful acres situated on Guadalupe River with ninety yards of beach like river front access. Start your river float on the famous Whitewater Horseshoe section of the river from your own backyard Horseshoe float start is only 200 yards down river) or enjoy world class rainbow trout fishing on one of the best stretches for fishing on the Guadalupe River. Close to restaurants in the beautiful Gruene area and New Braunfels or a short drive to San Antonio. Enjoy a fantastic concert at the Whitewater Amphitheater which is in walking distance from your Whitewater Ranch Retreat home. This property is great for a romantic getaway or for a couple families looking to enjoy the Guadalupe River or Canyon Lake which is only about 5 minutes away to nearest boat ramp.
Master Bedroom will sleep 4 with a king size bed and a trundle bed as well. Guest bedroom will sleep 2 with a queen size bed. Bunk room will have 2 queens on bottom and 2 twins on top sleeping 6, and a pull out couch in living room if needed,

Second Time Staying at This Second to None Property

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to spend our Easter holiday than Whitewater Ranch Retreat-we fished, kayaked, paddle boarded, swam, relaxed, walked to Whitewater Amphitheater to see a concert, cooked, had an Easter egg hunt and made lots of forever memories at this beautifully comfortable home. The location, owners and accommodations are all wonderful. Thank you for sharing your special space!

Retreat is the perfect name!

My family spent 3 nights at Whitewater Ranch Retreat, and it was a perfect long weekend! The property owner is super nice and accommodating. The house is gorgeous and spacious with a beautiful view of the river. The beds are very comfortable. The water is cold, but very clear, and it didn't deter us from getting in, at least partially. It's easy to get in and float, there's a great two hour float right from the yard. We hope to go again next year! I highly recommend!!

Spring Break Getaway

My Family and I spent Spring Break at Whitewater Ranch Retreat. The property is a dream with a massive back yard right on the river. The property comes with paddle boards, kayaks, fishing equipment, and lawn games. My kids enjoyed every moment and are already asking to return. We will definitely return.

Better than expected!

The overall house was very clean, had all the basics and more. The deck is nice and big and we loved the large swing seat. I came with small children who absolutely loved the bunk bed setup. The gradual slope in the backyard to the water behind the house was a huge selling feature for us and the shallowness of the creek. Both were so enjoyable even with small kids and the landscape was beautiful. Overall a great experience.

Perfect family spring break trip!

Great and clean accommodations, had everything we needed. It was a perfect stay for our family! We had kids, all the way up to Grandparents. Having the additional water toys was wonderful because we didn’t have to pack ours. We had great weather and were able to spend a lot of time on the water. Great yard and deck to accommodate yard games and morning coffee!

Wonderful Place

This place is absolutly wonderful. Great location to the river, places to eat and things to do. The house was spotless, very cozy, really comfortable. They have everything you need. They have little extras that many other places don't have or do. We will definitely be back. We saved this place as a top area fav.

Special Place

We booked this property to celebrate my son’s 14th birthday by fly fishing on the Guadalupe. This home has a beautiful spot right on the river and has a warm and joyful feel inside and out. There is plenty of space, the beds are comfortable and the area is super peaceful and quiet. There was a herd of deer that would come each night to eat acorns and they were beautiful to watch as well. What a special place!

Perfect get away!

Everything about this trip was awesome! This was a family trip for a family of 5, all adults. We drove up to a well manicured lawn. Walked into a cool house, lights on, with music playing and chocolates on our beds! The location to nearby floating, distance to the water and fire pit area did not disappoint. The host response time was terrific! Definitely recommend!

Fabulous River House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the River house! Easy access to the River and just a 10 minute drive to Canyon Lake. All the kids, ages 9-17, had a blast playing basketball out front and floating the river. Communication was great! We’ll definitely book again in the future!

It was our second time staying at the house and it was amazing! The house is well stocked, beautifully decorated and incredibly family friendly. The owners have gone above and beyond to create an unforgettable experience for guests and our family. 10/10 recommend this home!

We'll be back!

We had the best time at this perfectly placed river home! The house felt so peaceful and serene, especially for being just upstream of the horse shoe! We floated the horse shoe a couple times and had an easy walk back home, we took the dads in our crew to Camp Fimfo for a father's day ride on the Cliff Carver, and enjoyed some local shopping and BBQ.... but it was so nice that at the end of our adventures we could head back home to our own secluded river house. Brandon was very responsive and helpful while we were there, too! We left with plans to come back again!

Amazing River Location

We loved our stay and would love to come back again!! Our son, Kyle married Robyn, in New Braunsfels!! The house was in a great location with easy access to the water for tubing and the ability to just walk in and sit and chill. The owner has the area very well maintained. There is a firepit with plenty of chairs and lights. You have a huge yard to watch the kids play games or throw the football. We spent a lot of time on the covered deck watching sports, grilling, and catching up with friends and family. This would also be the perfect place for a nap. I love the open concept area where the kitchen, dining room, and living room are open so you can visit with everyone while cooking. It has two large bedrooms with king beds. It has two very nicely remodeled bathrooms. There is a laundry room which we appreciated. My favorite area was the built in bunk beds which sleeps eight. It had a large bean bag and easy access to the tv. This is the perfect area for kids or for a family to have their own space to sleep if there are multiple families visiting. Out in front, they have a basketball hoop, pinic table, and benches. You can keep an eye on the kids and still be able to relax. I wanted to say a big thank you to Brandon. Your place was perfect for us and allowed us to create wonderful memories that I will cherish for a lifetime!! Fantastic stay, book early, and book now!! Thanks!!

A retreat for the whole family

We had a fantastic experience at the white water ranch retreat! From the time of the booking and throughout our entire stay Brandon, the property owner, was great at communicating. He responded very quickly and was always very courteous and kind. The property pictures online looked very appealing, but everything was even better in person. The house was very clean and inviting. Everything looks newly remodeled and well taken care of. We had two families (4 adults - 5 kids) in our party and the house felt like plenty of space. The bunk room was great for all the kids. The outdoor space was the highlight! The covered patio is so spacious. We could watch sports on the patio while watching the kids play in the yard. The yard is HUGE! The kids loved playing in the yard and in the water. Our kids did some fishing, collected little shells, and tried to catch frogs in the evening. The first night we were there we used the fire pit. The kids loved making s’mores! It was great that there are solar powered string lights around the fire pit area. We loved everything about our stay! We look forward to visiting again in the future.

We will be back!

It was perfect. We had such a relaxing time. The house and beds were comfortable. We loved sitting out on the back porch. My boys enjoyed playing basketball in the drive way. The best part was spending time next to the river. What a beautiful spot! It was quiet and we pretty much had the river to ourselves. It was so great to unplug with my teenagers and enjoy nature. We enjoyed the house and property so much we really didn’t explore any of the local area but that was the beauty of this place! We relaxed, played, and laughed a lot without the stress of going to find things to do. It was the perfect family get away. The host was awesome and let us use their kayaks and paddle board. My teens spent hours paddling up and down the river. My boys were asking when we could come back before we even left. And we are definitely planning to come back!

Amazing River Property

Amazing location on the Guadalupe. The house is very roomy and well laid out. The back patio is a great spot to relax, grill and the view of the river is incredible. The property's river access is awesome. Brandon is a great host and was very easy to communicate with. We can’t wait to go back!

Great location and great house

Perfect location on the Guadalupe for tubing and fishing and just chilling out. Fire pit at night was very nice, all the outdoor lights come on and off automatically, which is nice. We used the grill one night to make fajitas and turned out great, sat out on the patio with the whole family overlooking the river. Kids loved the converted garage/bedroom. My only complaint would be the master bedroom bed is simply a futon, not a mattress at all, a bit too firm for my taste, but did the trick. Kids played board games that were included with the house. The shed has everything you need from paddleboard, outdoor games, I barely used a lot of the outdoor equipment that I brought with me because it was already there! Thanks again for a terrific stay.

Perfect Get Away!

We all had such a great time and didn't want to leave. The house is so comfortable and well stocked. It's a great location, upriver from where the public enters so it's much quieter. And if you decide to float the horseshoe, it's just a short walk back to the house. We can't wait to come again!! Thank you for being a great host Brandon!

Great Stay

Property is as described. Brandon is hands down best owner we have rented from. Checked on us the day of arrival to make sure everything was as planned. Very Clean property, location is amazing and everything needed was available and accessible on property. Great place!

Wonderful house. Beds are comfy. The hosts supplied lots of kind treats to welcome us and were very responsive with questions. Location on the water is perfect. Lots of space and plenty of water toys. I would definitely come again. The cooking supplies are somewhat limited. So if you like to cook and plan on cooking meals that require more than a few smaller pots, maybe pack that. But overall a great stay!

Fabulous! The property was meticulously clean and was perfect for our family vacation. Brandon was just a text away and replied quickly. The only suggestion I would leave is to have enough silverware (forks and spoons) to accommodate 12 people.

Great property

My family had a great time , the house was amazing and even tho the days were extremely hot the house remained cool. The river was quiet so the kids could enjoy the little private beach we had away from the main body of tubers, but still could go and tube the river with on the loop around. Overall a great family property

Vacation Getaway

We needed a change from the beach and selected Canyon Lake and found the perfect vacation getaway! White Water Ranch Retreat is great. The house is in the perfect part of the river where there is not a lot of tubers. You can sit in the river or by the river in solitude! The house was clean. It has everything you need. Big yard, front and back, for the kids to play. Our grandkids loved it and didn’t want to go home. It has a big back porch with lighting, seating, big swing to enjoy the outdoors. We loved it and we are definitely going back.

What makes this property unique

The unique benefit of renting Whitewater Ranch Retreat is that you can float the Horseshoe float at Whitewater from your own backyard and then just walk right back to house when done. No need to shuttle people or pay expensive prices for tubes and transportation back and forth. You can also forget all the crazy traffic when going to see a concert at Whitewater Amphitheater. Just grab a cold beer and the walk is only about 12 minutes. No drinking and driving needed!!!! Staying at Whitewater Ranch Retreat is a whole lot cheaper than a DWI!! We also have water access that is like a beach. Our property rolls into the river and make hanging out on the banks very simple and hassle free.
