The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Dishes: Load and start the dishwasher. Kitchen knives and wine glasses are NOT dishwasher safe.
Laundry: • Place all used towels in the bathtub. • If you used the sofa bed, remove the sheets, extra pillowcases, and blankets and place them next to the front door to indicate they need washing.
Trash: Remove all trash (except recycling) and leave it outside the front door. Recycling is for glass bottles, plastic bottles, cans, and clean boxes only.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please don't bring sand into the property, especially INSIDE shower stall or bathtub which will cause clogging issues for the next guest checking in.
Please only throw toilet paper into the toilet. Please leave open food on the dining table and not on kitchen counter to keep ants away!
Quiet time is from 10 pm to 9 am on the balcony and downstairs common areas. No smoking inside the apartment and in the common area to avoid a fine.

Our property is just one block from the beach, and we do our best to provide everything you might need for a perfect beach day — including beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, and even a rolling cart to carry everything with ease. We also have beach toys available for children. Ocean Beach is very dog-friendly, featuring a dedicated dog beach area, plenty of trees along the sidewalks, and small grassy patches where dogs can meet and play. We’re happy to offer a relaxing stay for both our guests and their furry friends!

This place has all the extras!Hand soap, shower gel and shampoo. Quality linens on the beds and different types of pillows to please everyone. Nice throws to cuddle up on the couch. Tea, coffee, sweetener and a fresh carton of 1/2 & 1/2. Beach chairs and throws for the chairs. A short walk to the beach. We only stayed 2 nights so I am sure I’m missing something but I’ll be back There are stairs to consider if you have a lot of luggage. Still 5*

We’re very grateful for the wonderful review! There is only one flight of stairs, about 15 steps in total. Whenever possible, we offer the downstairs apartment to guests who have any mobility concerns—especially if we’re informed at the time of booking.

Stay at the beach to take my mind off work

Excellent property and location at OB. Far enough from the main strip to be peaceful, close enough to be convenient. Host was incredible and very responsive. I stayed here for a work trip and had significant issues with the wifi =( If you are looking to detach and enjoy the beach, this will be a great stay for you!

Haoyu did not inform us about the Wi-Fi issues until his check out date. All we have to do is to reboot the router located in the next apartment. We had hosted a lot of guests that work remotely and had not have any major issues that cannot be fix promptly. Please always communicate with the host if you have any issues during your stay. I will response back almost immediately unless I’m sleeping or in yoga class.

Great place to experience OB and San Diego!

The property was a absolutely perfect for our vacation. It was very clean, equipped (from the kitchen to the shoe rack), central to everything in Ocean Beach and a very quick walk to the beach! The owner was so very accommodating. We were given guidance on everything from restaurants to parking. Great VRBO experience. Highly recommend this place!

Great OB stay!

The apartment itself is great! Very clean, spacious and more than enough as far as amenities are concerned. We were very comfortable and impressed! Communication with the owner and prop manager was great as well, both were very responsive, helpful, and polite. The only downfall is the parking is horrible, but that can be typical for a beach town.

Gorgeous condo nearby beach with great management!

I couldn't have asked for a better experience with this condo! It is beautiful inside and had everything we could have possibly wanted. Very modern with a full kitchen. Walking distance to the beach and nearby shops. My dog loved it! Despite no assigned parking, we had no trouble findings nearby spots for our two vehicles. The property owner is extremely easy to work with and is very flexible. Great experience! I hope to stay here again some day.

Perfect place

This property was in perfect condition and the property manager was very responsive. Everything seemed to be brand new/freshly renovated. From the kitchen appliances and utensils to the furniture and flooring and even the boogie boards in the closet, everything appeared new and exceptionally clean. Great location - minutes to the beach. We arrived on Memorial Day which made street parking difficult that day, but had no problems parking close the rest of the stay. Large washer and dryer in courtyard was great. Really the only critique would be that the cleaning crew left towels in one of the washers and one of the dryers for a couple days. My kids have voted this their favorite property in OB and we have been coming now for about 5 years.

Thank you for your visit! The washer and dryer were only accessible by the housekeeping team. There is a public laundry mat one block from the property that guest can access. All properties near the beach face the same issues with parking during public holidays

Don’t stay here!

Street parking if you’re lucky enough to find a spot! Very noisy even with windows closed! No outdoor light which is a safety issue considering the people that walk around at night. Property manager is extremely picky and will charge you extra for sand or dog hair on the floor! I’m currently disputing an extra 100 charge for candles and dirty towels which I have no idea what they are referring to. I left the place cleaner than I found it; the property manager obviously running a scam!

Once a while we get guest that make false accusations about our property. We were not able to give Amanda a full refund when she wanted to cancel her reservation a day before arrival due to the cancellation policy. She finally kept her reservation but since day one, it was non stop text from her with questions. She can easily find all those answers in our listing and google however we were patiently helping her and responding to all her questions immediately. Upon her departure, we found that she used the kitchen and bath towels for her dog as well as missing items in the apartment. We had pictures to verify everything to VRBO and only change her the minimum amount to replace the damages. Please read all the other reviews especially the guest that checked in after her departure. This will definitely proof that we are not only honest, but we worked very hard to create a wonderful vacation experience for our guest!

Enjoyable stay!

Just spent five nights at this lovely place with my family, which includes two tweens. A few of the things to highlight: - the place was very clean, comfortable and extremely well stocked (not only the coffee/tea and a few basics in the kitchen, but the bathroom had a number of toiletry items you don't even get in a hotel) - the owner was not only very responsive (when I did have questions, I received an answer via text immediately), but also very proactive (but not intrusive). Always texting me if going to be unavailable and providing an alternative contact. Sending me ideas of attractions and restaurants. - the location is fantastic: Two blocks from the beach, a short walk from the street with groceries and restaurants, and short drives to everywhere else. And if you like dogs, like I do, this location is particularly amazing. Dogs everywhere! Three small things for people to consider: - the area itself is quite noisy. Just lots of people, cars, etc. So if you want complete quiet, you might want something less urban. We didn't mind it, but I can imagine it might be noticeable. - if you have a car, it is only street parking, which at busy times (weekends) can require circling a bit, or parking several blocks away. We always found a spot, and the weather is so amazing, we didn't mind it, but just be aware. - the overview said there was a washer/dryer, and one reviewer also mentioned it. However, there isn't a washer/dryer anymore. There is a laundromat a couple blocks away. The owner said they'd check the overview. Overall - a great place to stay if you are visiting San Diego and like being near a beach.

Thank you for taking the time to give a genuine review if my vacation rental. It is located one block from the beach in busy Ocean beach so there’s definitely more activities around the building but that is the price you pay if you want to be near both the beach, restaurants and shopping. Street Parking is free that is great because all the other beaches charge for parking. Everyone want to be at the public beach so weekend can be challenging but I have some designated parking locations that you have to pay $5 to park that I can share with you when you visit. We have a Public laundromat one block from the apartment so we don’t offer laundry within the apartment because guest typically don’t remove sand before they do their laundry so that cause clogging problems for the apartment. I try my best to supply everything else that you may need to make your stay memorable.

This condo was like your own home. It was full of beautiful dishes, appliances and utensils for every type of cooking. Great beach location

This was a clean, cozy little place to stay by the beach. It's proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants was exactly what we were looking for. Also, it was not far to the San Diego Zoo and museums. Check in was easy and the owner was very responsive with questions. We will definitely check this place out again when we are in San Diego.

So close to the beach.

We were so pleased as to how close the property was to the beach. It was just what we were looking for. The walkable restaurant options were a big plus as parking seemed limited in some areas during certain times of the day. It was a bit noisy at times with the amount of traffic but that's an uncontrollable variable. It's a popular beach with lots of visitors, so it made sense there would be lots of traffic. We were fortunate enough to arrive on the day when the Farmer's Market was going on and it was amazing to see all the different vendors and enjoy the yummy food. We kept the windows open most of the time we were there to enjoy the ocean breeze. The kitchen was well supplied with all the necessities. Comfy beds and plenty of linens and towels. My son loved playing the board games. Easy check in. Meiluen was prompt in responses and very helpful when giving us the details about our stay, as well as suggestions of some great spots to check out. She clearly wants her guests to not only enjoy their stay, but get the best out of their stay. She's a great host.
