Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Trash: Remove all trash (except recycling) and leave it outside the front door. Recycling is for glass bottles, plastic bottles, cans, and clean boxes only.
Dishes: Load and start the dishwasher. Kitchen knives and wine glasses are NOT dishwasher safe.
Laundry: • Place all used towels in the bathtub. • If you used the sofa bed, remove the sheets, extra pillowcases, and blankets and place them next to the front door to indicate they need washing.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please don't bring sand into the property, especially INSIDE shower stall or bathtub which will cause clogging issues for the next guest checking in.
Please only throw toilet paper into the toilet. Please leave open food on the dining table and not on kitchen counter to keep ants away!
Quiet time is from 10 pm to 9 am on the balcony and downstairs common areas. No smoking inside the apartment and in the common area to avoid a fine.

The owner was very helpful and informative of local restaurants and bars and other things. The place had everything we really needed. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants was a plus even in Jan when the beach is too cold

Place was really nice and comfortable. The location was perfect for me and my family as so many options to walk to. Best of all is the owner. She cares very much about your stay and easy to get in touch with any questions you might have. Can't say enough about how helpful the owner was to me during my stay. Great location accommodation

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The location was perfect and street parking wasn't too tedious to find - we never had to park more than 1 block away, and this was due to arriving back to the apartment later in the evening. Check in was a breeze and all of the necessary beach equipment was readily available (including a wagon to help tote your items!). Beds were comfortable and the home was very clean. Host was very easy to communicate with and when I did reach out with a question during the stay, she responded in under 5 minutes, which I can't say is always the case and I very much appreciated her attentiveness and responsiveness. I would recommend this listing to my friends and would stay here again.

Close to everything!

Very clean, nice apartment. The host was extremely accommodating and had lots of extras in the room, especially if you had a long travel day. We will be back again!

Cute and convenient

Cute little property close to beach, shops and restaurants. Very well equipped with beach necessities. We really enjoyed the area. It was convenient to Uber from the airport. We also went to Balboa Park and the zoo. Glad we didn’t need to deal with a car rental or parking.

Great Beach property

This property was just as described. Great communication with owner. I loved how close it was to beach and shops. Parking got a little difficult on the weekend but unless you NEED a car just walk or Uber. I would definitely book this property again.

Quick and Easy Stay

Our stay was last minute so we were lucky to have found this property. Location was great and it was super clean. The best part, for such a quick stay, was that communication with the owner was very smooth. Housekeeping had the place ready for early check-in and instructions to were very clear and easy to follow. We only had two days to visit so we didn't get to spend a ton of time at the property, but we definitely look forward to staying again for an extended amount of time.

Great place close to the beach!

The location was perfect - really close to both Ocean Beach, Dog Beach, and Newport Avenue with all of the restaurants and shops. We walked to everything. The place was immaculately clean and newly remodeled. I could tell the owner tried to think of every detail to make it an awesome place to stay. The owner called me ahead of time to touch base and kept in touch throughout the entire vacation. The only suggestion I could make would be a washer and dryer, but I can see how space restraints could make that difficult. There is a laundromat close by.

I felt that the owner was intrusive. She texted us all the time. The rule about no smoking of any sorts outside was ridiculous. There were no beach towels and the beds were cheap foam rubber.

Just as advertised!

Loved this rental! The location was great, especially how close the beach was! We had a rental car and parking was fairly easy, just be careful of what day street sweeping is! We misread a sign and ended up with a $52 ticket that easily could have been avoided. The rental was just as described. Perfect size for a group of four and the patio off our unit was a bonus! My only complaint would be how much you could hear people walking around upstairs. Most of the time it wasn’t an issue but our first night we heard a lot of footsteps around 5am. Overall a great place and we’d definitely stay again!

The unit is in a great location near the beach. It is well managed. Communication was excellent and the preparation and cleaning is perfect. Nice patio. Issues, which can't really be changed, are mostly related to noise. If anyone is upstairs, you hear every move and step, even when they careful. In addition, the flight take-off pattern for the airport goes right over the house. If the windows are open, you have to pause your conversation every minute or so.

Clean and cheerful property in a fabulous location!! Located on a quiet corner just steps from the beach and the heart of Ocean Beach.
