Perfect family place to explore the region from

Gerard is a great host. We, a family of four spent eleven days at this great appartment in Lourmarin, which we appreciated as the most beautiful of the many villages i the region. The appartment has plenty of space and with the garden is perfect to be with kids. For our next Provence vacation we definitely come back here. Thanks for all. Best regards Torsten

Sehr empfehlenswerte Ferienwohnung

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist komfortabel, gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Je nach Wetter kann man im schönen Garten, an einem überdachten Tisch oder auch im gemütlichen Wohnraum das Frühstück und das Abendbrot genießen.Zur Ortsmitte vom malerischen Ort Lourmarin sind es nur weinige Minuten zu Fuß.Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour. L'appartement est confortable, bien équipé et très propre. Selon la météo, vous pourrez prendre votre petit-déjeuner et votre dîner dans le magnifique jardin, à une table couverte ou dans le salon chaleureux.Le centre du pittoresque village de Lourmarin est à seulement quelques minutes à pied.

Wohltuende Nachsommertage in der Provence

Die Nähe zu Lourmarin, die ruhige Lage mitten in Weinbergen und Olivenhainen, die Möglickeiten zu Wanderungen im Luberon und die Erreichbarkeit vieler schöner Städte und Kulturdenkmäler waren für uns wunderbar und machten die Unterkunft zu einem idealen Urlaubsort. Die Wohnung ist mit allem Nötigen bestens ausgestattet. Die Besitzer sind sehr sympathisch und freundlich. Uns hat alles sehr gefallen.

Bon séjour à Lourmarin

Nous avons s’ejourné avec 2 Chinese dans la maison de Celine Frediani, du 30 juni au 20 juillet. Cette maison était bien; soigné et entièrement équipé. Nous avons pu prendre un bon dëjeuner soms le grand advent et il y avait même une place de parking couverts pour la voiture! La maison etait suffisamment fraîche pour bien dormir. Mais surtout le jardin était fantastique: clôturé et avec beaucoup de gazon. Ainsi, les chiefs pouvaient Joure et s’allonger dehors. L’accueil et le départ ont été très simpathique. Et le tout à quelques pas de Lourmarin dans un vader calme et magnifique! Iny et René.

Très bonne adresse!

Nous avons passés deux très bonnes semaines dans cet appartement spatieux situé à l´entrée de Lourmarin. Il est possible d´atteindre à pied une boulangerie, des petits commerces, un bureau de tabac ou une aire de jeux au centre du village en quelques minutes, tout en étant logé au calme, un peu en retrait. Il y a tout le nécessaire dans l´appartement afin que l´on ne manque de rien et c´est très propre. Et s´il y a quoique ce soit, les propriétaires sont joignables et très chaleureux. Nos enfants ont beaucoup joué au babyfoot sur la terrasse abritée. Notre chien pouvait aller et venir librement comme la propriété est entourée d´un muret. Tout cela a contribué à un très bon séjour!

Délicieux séjour

Le gîte est idéalement placé, à distance du village de Lourmarin qui reste accessible à pied, au milieu de vignes et d’oliviers. La maison est grande et reste fraîche même par forte chaleur. Le jardin et la terrasse sont un vrai plus. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques et prévenants.

Maison et environnement agréables.

Le gîte est proche du village ce qui permet de s'y rendre à pied très facilement. Le terrain autour de la maison donnant sur les vignes est très agréable. En ce qui concerne le couchage, on peut déplorer un manque d'intimité .Une seule chambre est fermée. Un lit n'est isolé que par une tenture, il donne sur le passage vers les toilettes et la salle de bain. Le troisième lit est un convertible dans la salle de séjour qu'il faut traverser pour se rendre à la cuisine. Une remarque au sujet de l'accès au chemin des vignes. Partant de la route, il porte un autre nom ce qui est trompeur, l'embranchement vers le chemin des vignes n'est pas indiqué

House at Foot of Luberon

My friend and I spent 11 wonderful nights at the "maison" and couldn't be more pleased. The house was spacious, well appointed and the location was exceptional! An easy 10 minute walk to town. The location is in a very quiet, country type setting. Perfect for evening walks. The house was well equipped - we only needed groceries. There is a small but well stocked grocery/deli store right at the entrance of town within the 10 minute walk. The hosts were very gracious in stocking the kitchen with salt, pepper, olive oil, herbs de Provence and balsamic vinegar. Even a starter supply of instant coffee and tea. A nice touch was a welcome gift of Provence cookies and a bottle of rose - my favorite wine now. One drawback was the second bedroom which is located in a former entryway. There was only a curtain, no door, that separated the little room from the hallway. And no place to put a suitcase, but we made it work. We certainly liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the spacious shower room. Enjoyed the covered patio area for dining and relaxing in the comfortable lounge chairs. Perfect for sunbathing and reading. The backyard could use a little TLC - a bit of a limited view of the next door vineyard. Overall this was a very enjoyable stay and experience. We will be back next year. We loved our "maison."

Perfekt für Mensch und Hund

Wir hatten einen erholsamen Urlaub und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist großzügig, die Küche gut ausgestattet und die sehr bequemen Gartenmöbel haben wir gerne genutzt. Trotz des heißen Sommers war immer ein Schattenplatz zur Verfügung. Die Nähe zum Ort ist positiv für Marktbesuche und Schlossbesichtigung. Alles in 5 bis 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Um so erstaunlicher, dass das Grundstück sehr ruhig gelegen ist. Wir können es auch allen Hundebesitzern weiterempfehlen, da der Garten mit einer ca. 60 cm hohen Mauer und hohen immergrünen Sträuchern umgeben ist, somit auch rundum uneinsehbar. Natürlich ist es auch ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die nahegelegenen Orte und Regionen des kleinen und großen Lüberon. Fazit: perfekt für Mensch und Hund.

Parfait à recommander

Superbe maison dans un village très charmant. La maison est confortable même par fortes chaleurs. Les environs immédiats permettent des promenades à pied, les villages aux alentours sont à visiter. Nous avons passé un séjour parfait avec notre chien. A recommander !

Schönes Haus mit großem Garten

Sehr gute Lage, da man zu Fuß nach Lourmarin laufen kann. Daher sind die Restaurants, ein kleiner Supermarkt, sowie der Wochenmarkt ohne Auto erreichbar. Ebenso das Schloss Lourmarin. Abgeschlossenes Grundstück mit luftiger Terrasse.

Maison au calme avec jardin arboré

Excellent accueil du propriétaire qui reste très discret, vous vous sentez de suite très à l'aise pour un bon séjour. Agréable propriété sans vis à vis avec des points forts comme l'immense pergola donnant sur le jardin, bons volumes pour l'intérieur et très propre, un espace couvert pour stationner le ou les véhicules. Localisation très importante à 800m à pieds du centre de Lourmarin avec son célèbre marché, les commerces, les restaurants et le château pour une visite à ne pas manquer. Excellent accueil du propriétaire qui reste très discret, vous vous sentez de suite très à l'aise pour un bon séjour.

Très bon séjour à Lourmarin

Gîte très bien situé (Lourmarin accessible à pied, tout le Lubéron à moins d'une heure, nombreux sentiers de randonnée notamment), tout en étant au calme. Très bien équipé, au frais même quand les températures montent (la terrasse couverte est très appréciable). Les propriétaires ont un logement un niveau supérieur mais n'y séjournent pas quand le gîte est loué.

An island of quiet very close to a beautiful town
