Great location & Cottage

Lovely welcome on arrival, entry by key safe, everything you need in the cottage. Location is very close to York and is easily accessible to other towns. Would definitely recommend.

From arrival to departure we had an amazing stay the Hayloft was exceptional and exceeded all of my expectations I can’t fault anything .maybe the hot water wasn’t sufficient on occasion) but it didn’t spoilt our stay and we would definitely look to book again. Absolutely loved our stay here. The Hayloft is stunning (even better than the pictures which were amazing!) and it’s warm and welcoming. Great location for us as we had family in the next village so we could walk to see them every day. Attention to detail of the owners is exceptional. Everything you could think of is catered for. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful, cosy, homely and high quality.

Great handy location. Beautifully decorated and furnished. It was great to come back to the Hayloft each evening and settle-in. It has a lovely cosy feel. The bedroom is lovely and comfortable with a nice bath at one end. We loved every aspect of our stay and the host was welcoming and friendly. A lovely experience. We'll be back.

Perfect escape

What a brilliant find! Stayed here for a few days whilst helping daughter to move flats at uni.... An oasis of calm and comfort away from the hard work of moving home! Haxby is a lovely place with an excellent bakery just a few minutes walk away. The cottage is tucked away behind the hosts house with a private outside seating area. Everything was great quality and the whole place felt very spacious and comfortable. The hosts couldn't have been more helpful and we'd love to stay again if we're ever in need of a base in the area for a few days.

Lovely break in comfortable property

Had a lovely break. Everything you need. Car parking safe and secure in gated area. 2 minutes walk to all amenities. Quiet in bedroom at night with no road noise. Only downside was upstairs sloped ceiling where I bumped my head a few times
