Good location

For two people on a short stay in York this apartment is ideal. Everything you need is on your doorstep and it's only a five minute walk to the Minster. There's a Sainsburys very close and also the Bootham Tavern which is a great pub. It opens at 10.00am for breakfast if you don't feel like cooking and became our 'away from home' local. York is a very pedestrian friendly city and easy to 'get about' in. I'd certainly stay at this apartment again next time we visit York.

2 Months Stay

The flat itself is clean, you have everything you need for short stays, for longer stays what you have there is too little and in my opinion not suitable. As I said, the flat is clean and the location is unbeatable. The only annoying thing is that the kitchen appliances are connected with on and off buttons, for example you have an on button for the fridge, extractor bonnet, cooker, etc.. The labelling on the buttons is not correct at all, you turn on the fridge and the cooker comes on, when you turn on the dishwasher the extractor bonnet goes off, this should be corrected as it can be very confusing, especially if you are not from England. When I moved in the fridge compartment for the freezer was broken, I contacted customer services directly and they said they would send someone round the same day, which didn't work out but someone will definitely come tomorrow. The next day I received an email asking if I would be there again tomorrow because someone was coming round? In the end, someone came round the next day to have a look. If you book longer stays you have a cleaning service every 14 days, when the first one was due no one came until you asked and they sent someone, the cleaning service was different some were very thorough but some were not.

Beautiful studio close to the Minster

The apartment is in a great location and a perfect base to explore York. It’s very comfortable and has everything you need for a visit to the beautiful city of York.
