Great property. Stunning and spacious. Responsive hosts. Pool not heated, hot tub is nice but small for larger groups. Sauna was great. Kitchen perfect, worked nicely with having a chef for meals.

Fabulous house, incredible amenities, very helpful host.The house is in a great position , close to Marsalokk , a lovely town with great restaurants, walks and close to nice beaches with the chance of lovely swims.We would definitely recommend the house to large families we had a fantastic time, thank you.

Wonderful villa in a peaceful location

We had an amazing stay, the villa itself was beautiful, well equipped and maintained, offering all we need for a comfortable stay. The host, Amanda, was incredibly friendly and responsive, ensuring our visit was smooth and enjoyable.

Fantastic property and great host in serene location

The property is huge and easily accommodated our party with plenty of room to spare. The facilities are also top class with plenty to keep us entertained. The only negatives being that audio facilities are not provided and cooling in the games/gym area is fan only so became very warm.The location is great with a 10 minute walk to Marsaxlokk and access to public transport. A single parking space is also provided with additional on-street parking available. The location was peaceful, however, it should be noted that the adjoining property is still under construction so we did not have any neighbours during our stay.Overall, we were very impressed and the villa made for a nice relaxing base during our stay in Malta.

We stayed for ten days at the beginning of August. I can only reiterate what others have said about Villa Manta. Great size for a family of ten ranging in age from 16 to 78. Really clean on arrival and serviced after a week. Areas to suit everyone - gym, hot tub, poker table, arcade games and games tables in the basement were a great hit with the youngsters (and some parents). We used the wonderful cinema room on two evenings when my son used his subscription services to log in. There were quiet areas for reading or just sitting in the cool. The air con was a blessing and there were enough places outside to sit in sun or shade, although we could have used another parasol or two. Everyone enjoyed the pool, but not all at the same time.The villa was equipped with everything we could have wanted for cooking, eating and drinking. It was beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. The full length mirrors were appreciated. I had the room on the top floor and as ChatGP summed it up in a thank you card, ‘ The lift kept a-binging, up-down all day, your private chariot in silver display.’The villa is in a peaceful location with open views at the back. We went to Marsaxlokk most days and ate in several of the restaurants. Everyone was friendly and our choices were remembered if we returned.We used NJoy Malta to pre-book four private tours. All were excellent but the evening catamaran cruise was the hit. Bolt taxis were quick to respond and reasonable.

Why they chose this property

We have chosen the area of Tas-Silg in Marsaxlokk specifically for the beautiful country views. The villa is located in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood but is also a couple of minutes walk away from the harbour area of Marsaxlokk. Marsaxlokk fishing village is the largest fishing harbour in Malta. It has been so since antiquity and today the greater part of fish sold on the Maltese islands are caught by fishermen coming from this village. Traditional luzzijiet (plural of luzzu, brightly-coloured traditional Maltese fishing boats) and larger fishing vessels line the sheltered harbour in a colourful display that has been the subject of countless photoshoots. Restaurants, bars and cafes line the waterfront, so you are spoilt for choice if the sea air suddenly brings on your appetite. The open-air Marsaxlokk fish market is located along one side of the harbour and is an all-week event. Here you will find fresh seafood but also fruits and vegetables, artisan products, household products, clothes and souvenirs.

Villa Manta gives you a sense of a serene oasis amidst the frenzy of other busier locations. It also provides space for the larger groups while at the same time the privacy that one would also seek. And with quality time with friends and family at the top of many travellers priorities, this outstanding holiday home will surely make for an ideal group getaway especially when one consider its top-of-the-line amenities: private infinity outdoor pool, BBQ area, games room, poker room, cinema room, sauna & hot tub!
