Very lovely home with a view of the Caribbean and walking distance to coffee shop which we loved. Location was centrally located and just a quick golf cart ride to amenities. The only thing we noticed was that the kitchen was not very well stocked, but for a small group it worked ok.

We were welcomed by the management with professionalism. We had a few issues that was addressed immediately. The management came back to reassure the issue were resolved to meet our expectations. They made arrangements for us when ask for golf cart, give us some great referrals for entertainment. left a book that was so helpful, with restaurant's, emergency, hospitality items. The pool was pleasant. The maintenance man was always asking if we needed anything. The security was always so welcoming at the gate, always a smile, joke of the day, advice where to go, directions how to get to places, safe and not so safe areas. Lina Maya resort is a hidden resort at the end of the complex with a restaurant, bar, music, pool, wow what a nice place to relax. They entertain on Friday night with a ritual Maya dance with dinner. The lobster was huge and tasty. The owner and staff are so nice and before we left the island we felt as family. the cabins are for rent with glass floors, adorable, cozy, clean. Not to mention Rocky the gator every night at 7:00 pm. comes and meets guest. Other than the roads are tuff to drive on with golf cart, and we were on street side of condo, and the noise was something we had to get used to from the big trucks, motorcycles. The town is busy and can be a bit challenging to drive. However, we learned some tricks of the trade and survived. Thank you, Mara Laguana, and staff.

It was affordable

I travel to San Pedro frequently doing humanitarian emergency medical work. Our group has the first rescue unit and system in place. A man named Robert an American expattiat has a vendetta against us. Rob would not let me park our rescue unit on the acres of land. He was rude and will now have to deal with the tourism board, I believe we stayed in his junky condo. The drawers fell apart and had one towel for 6 days. Don't waste your money on this dump

Not what we expected

While the condo itself was nice and we were able to make ourselves feel comfortable there were some things I didn't care for. Some people might like to be asked daily if they wanted their condo cleaned, I didn't care for it and when we did have them come they never changed the sheets (we were there for 13 days) They also provide shampoo, conditioner and body wash, which is nice but none of the tubes (and I checked all of them) had the protective seal on them, kind of gave me the heebie-jeebies and wondered if they just kept refilling them. One of the selling points for me was that the condo was advertised as "just steps from the beach" which is a lie. There is ocean across the street but there is a sea wall and not sand. If you want to go to a beach you have to drive your golf cart about a half hour-45 minutes away. Secret Beach is beautiful but not easy to get to. Or you can take a water taxi over to KoKo King in Caye Caulker. Lastly I could not believe how expensive everything in San Pedro are. The US dollar is worth more than their dollar but I think most of the prices are tripled in the food stores. My husband an I have been to many Islands and this by far was the most expensive

Was what we thought

Location was North of the bridge and off the beach. Good view of reef but main road is right in front so lots of road noise. The back has good views of the lagoon and maybe you will see a crocodile. Room is a good size and the pool is nice. Only problem was owner was selling and the real-estate was trying to show it with us there. They said they were coming one day and we waited and no one showed up. Everyone was friendly there and we would stay again maybe with a lagoon view that way you can see the sunsets.

This property was totally not as advertised. The couch a person could not sit on I complained to management and they said it would get repaired when we left it was still in the same condition. The kitchen was not equipped for 4 people eg 3 coffee mugs 2 teaspoons 1 dessert spoon 3 drink glasses 3 cereal bowls no tea towels etc overall terrible. Will not be booking with Vacasa ever again

Beautiful Place

The unit is very nice with comfortable accommodations and a large living and kitchen area. The unit isn't beachfront, there's a road and another piece of property separating it. It has beautiful views from the 3rd floor balcony looking across the road to the ocean. The Master bedroom has a queen size bed while the guest has a full size. The community pool is nearby. It says the pool closes at 9pm, but it often closes earlier. Would recommend if you want a comfortable place with amazing views just a 5 minute golf cart ride to the city.

Don't rent this one....

Let's see to start the place was not clean dirty dish towels counter tops and bathrooms. Kitchen sink was clogged had to call on that 2 times the clogged sink and then when they fixed it the next day he didn't put it together right so water everywhere that took another 2 days.. The shade in the small bedroom broken light bulbs broken and still screwed in the socket and half the bulbs in the condo didn't work. No toilet paper coffee maker was junk hair dryer didn't work, I could go on but I think you have an idea now stay away. Also don't ever rent a gulf cart from MK gulf carts junk we had to get 4 different carts with no discounts for the inconvenience Rent at your own risk...

In the description of this condo the add states "Just steps from the beach" which was one of the major selling points when I was looking, that is a total lie!!! Yes it is across the street from the ocean but there is a seawall there, no sand and so much seaweed you wouldn't want to swim in it if you could. You have to drive to secret beach, which is beautiful but it takes you 1/2 hour to 40 minutes to get to on very bumpy roads

If you are looking for a great place to relax and soak up the sun, this is the place to be! Michaela was super friendly and helped get us to the condo by arranging a car to pick us up. We will be back soon!!
