Fabulous house in a great location. Great views and walking distance to a bunch of restaurants, ice cream shop and pharmacy. A bit of a hike to the beach with smaller kids but definitely manageable. Felt very safe with lots of outdoors space. A great home base to explore/do day trips in the western algarve.

We loved our stay! The property was beautiful with a great ocean view and the villa was well stocked with essentials. Check in was very easy and we appreciated the accommodations made for us as we arrived quite late due to delayed flights. The town and beach are just a short walk and there were several great options for restaurants in walking distance. The pool was larger than expected and it was a great way to cool off after exploring all day. My only regret is that we were not able to stay longer. I hope to return again soon!

Great stay in Luz

Wonderful place just a short walk from central Luz and right on edge of the cliffs and the great walking trail that goes all the way down the coast - we walked the 3 miles down to Burgau for breakfast one morning - highly recommended.

We had a splendid week staying at the villa. Breathtaking view, perfect weather, delicious and bountiful food and everything within walking distance. Will stay again next time we travel to Portugal.

Luz

This house was beyond perfect for us. We loved it all - the outdoor spaces, pool, bedrooms, and sunken family room. Short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. We loved it!!

We were a group of 3 friends traveling together. This house was a perfect base to explore the Western Algarve. There was plenty of space to spread out and the rooms were comfortable. The kitchen had all we needed, particularly since we ate out most evenings. There are excellent restaurants nearby. The pool was very welcome at the end of a hot day. The property management was slow to respond but the host quickly answered our most important questions.

Really Nice Property

House was great. The four bathrooms were an added plus. Swimming pool was wonderful for little ones. House could provide better pillows and linens. There could also be better, more comfortable outdoor seating. The walk to Luz Beach proper is a good hike, especially if you have young ones in your group. All in all a great place to spend a vacation.

Wonderful home!

I loved everything about this house—the decor, the location, the views. I could live here all year. Sleeping with the windows open to the ocean air was so nice. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe. The house was much larger than I needed but well worth the price for the location, views, facilities, and privacy. I will return, hopefully with friends or family next time.

Summer break

Excellent location and traditional villa. Some aspects in need of updating such as loungers. Would have liked additional pillow and lounger cushions. Shame no comfortable outside furniture other than main table. Overall location across from cliffs and proximity to Luz. Great views made for great holiday

Perfect location, fabulous holiday

We loved this house! The views were incredible, the house is in a perfect location right on the ocean front with a short (5-10 min) walk to the town centre and main beach. The interior is really spacious, with rooms on different levels meaning everyone can have space and privacy. All sorts of balconies and outside spaces, lovely terrace and the kids spent hours in the pool. Nice kitchen, well equipped, new appliances and Nespresso coffee machine. The house is simply furnished but had everything we needed, including decent hot showers and good WiFi connection. Great communication and greeting on arrival when our flight was delayed and we arrived late at night. We would not hesitate to recommend this house and miss it already!

Spacious, quirky house in a fantastic location

We loved this house and the location, right on the coast in Luz. We have memories filled with the sights and sounds of the sea - so totally relaxing. The house has great space, is quirky (original features such as tiles) and comfortable and very clean. It has so many terraces on different levels that there is always something different to look at and no danger of a house full of people getting on top of each other. The BBQ works brilliantly and was put to much use as was the wonderful plunge pool . The kitchen is spacious and well -equipped. The bedrooms are spacious, comfy and clean and the bathrooms are simple, functional and spotless with lashings of hot water. The TV room came in useful as we were there for a whole month and had lots of visitors to stay. The cleaning and towel service are excellent. Lovely private location, away from the main drag but within easy reach by foot of all the amenities of Luz (the small rocky beach close by and the main sandy beach a little further away, the restaurants and bars) and by car to Lagos and surrounding area. We had a fabulous stay and cannot thank the owners enough for their hospitality. We would highly recommend this property and the location to family and friends.

Artistic and Traditional Beach Villa

We loved our stay in this villa. It was very clean and private. It’s an older house so it can smell moldy if you don’t open windows from time to time. But such a gorgeous view! Not for the people looking to party and get drunk. It’s a traditional, artistic, respectable space. The response time by the property managers was a little slow, but they did fulfill all needs. Only negative was the housekeeping said they’d send someone to clean the pool, and never did. The pool was not filthy, but it was also not completely clean. Some green algae and dirt on the bottom. They did give me the run around on that one and also when we needed more toilet paper etc. I’d text the property managers instead of housekeeping- that would be my advice. Just fyi, so you know what to expect. Everything else was great.

Empfehlenswert.
