Real Escapes Properties offers an end unit townhome with lots of room to relax. Unit #106 is in a great location and it would be perfect for two families getting together. 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath condo has over 1,860 SF of living area.
The first floor has two bedrooms, a full bath and washer/dryer. Bedroom #1 is on the left - with a Queen-sized bed. On the right you'll find a blast of sunshine in Bedroom #2 - with a set of twin beds and a door opening up to the private courtyard area. There is one full bathroom downstairs with a tub/shower combination and a stackable washer/dryer unit.
The second floor of this classic beach house is where you will find the kitchen, living room and dining area. Hardwood flooring, lots of windows and light-colored furniture make this a great gathering place. The kitchen is equipped with standard amenities. There is plenty of seating for your crowd - either at one of the tables or the kitchen bar. A half-bathroom is also located on this level. There is a screen porch located off of the front of the house from the 2nd floor and a deck area off the dining room.
The 3rd Floor has 2 more bedrooms, each with a Queen bed and en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combination. Rounding out the area is a lounge area and another sun porch access.
Location: Property is located near East Beach area almost adjacent to the Coast Guard Station (Beach Access). In addition, it is about a 1.8-mile bike ride into the village. Located off of Ocean Boulevard, this property is walking distance to Crabdaddy's and Crab Trap (less than 1/2 mile).

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect place for a beach getaway! We've stayed here several times and love it. It's not fancy, but it is as advertised and meets our needs. About half a mile from the restaurants at Arnold Rd & Ocean Blvd and roughly 1.5mi from the village. Easy access to points north on St Simons, too. We'll stay again for sure!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is amazing and the property spacious. The kitchen sink faucet as lose. The tub in the master bedroom the stopper does not work. The furniture and the carpets could use some spot cleaning and shampooing. The swing and the deck off the dining room could use some tlc. Otherwise this is certainly a rental I would recommend.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I wouldn't stay here again. Bathrooms and carpeting need to be updated for starters. Master bath has missing shower door which has been replaced with a shower curtain that invades your space. Twin beds had no top sheets just a bed cover which doesn't get washed. Price seemed like a bargain but after staying there, I don't think many folks would feel that way.

Disappointed!
They stay itself was questionable after renting. I kept asking the question, Does the place have grill? This question went unanswered for a while until I was finally able contact the management group for the property personally. Then we arrive at the home and the refrigerator does not work. There's a note on the fridge stating it will take 6 hours to cool and place only cool food in fridge, REALLY! Furthermore, this did not help with the ice maker doing its job, not cool or what anyone would expect while vacationing. The showerheads in the bathrooms need to be replaced, yesterday. Crud and gunk buildup on all 3. Water stains on the ceiling also makes one concerned along with an unsafe balcony off the master bedroom on the 3rd floor. The balcony is falling forward, something that need to be addressed today. Usally I am not a complainer but this house was really disappointing. The same as its important to keep the home clean and like it was found, it's important to make sure the house is safe for my family.
