Bait and Switch
Do not rent this unit or from this company. We were told when we arrived that the “chic” property we’d secured had “a water leak” and were led to a tiny, dingy ground floor apartment across the street without working WiFi by “Mark” who was incredibly rude from the first contact. When we settled into the place we texted him about the filth and Wi-Fi not operating but he argued that it was clean and that the Wi-Fi issue was with the ISP. Wrong on both accounts. After a dozen restarts the WiFi hub powered on briefly and Virgin’s cable signal was up. The hub immediately died after about a minute. I attempted to politely educate Mark about the issue and the difference between a WAN issue and a LAN issue at which point he called me stupid. We left the unit and got a hotel for our stay, since the smell and griminess of the apartment were disgusting and we knew Mark had access to the place so didn’t feel safe staying in the unit.We never spent a night there.VRBO has photos of the stained bedroom carpeting and a pdf export of the text dialog with Mark. I wish I could send them the a sample of the stench.This is the only issue I’ve ever had with the many VRBO properties I’ve rented over the years and I have a stellar record as a renter. Beware!
