Fabulous apartment, luxurious standard, best location. Views onto Royal Mile. Every mod convenience, comfortable beds. Designer fabrics, wallpapers, free wifi, internet tvs. Secure entry. Cosy & comfortable. 200 yards from Edinburgh Castle.

This 2nd floor apartment can accommodate a maximum of 4 persons. There is one bedroom; 1 king size double ( can be set up as 2 single beds), Double sofa bed in livingroom, full bathroom. Bedroom is peaceful and quiet at night. Open plan kitchen/dining/livingroom with 3 windows looking directly onto Royal Mile. All windows in the property are double glazed. Bathrooms have under floor heating. There is gas central heating. The property retains great period features; old stone fireplaces, exposed ancient stone walls; and yet provides all modern conveniences and striking decoration.

Situated in the historic Old Town of Edinburgh, this is the best place to stay in the city. The Old Town is a World Heritage site. Steeped in history, packed with museums, visitor attractions, specialty shops, restaurants and pubs. Edinburgh castle is 1 minute walk from your front door. This area of the city has a real buzz and is a joy to explore. This apartment is however in a peaceful location late at night with no nightclubs or noisy pubs nearby. This a great place to stay anytime but a prime location during the Edinburgh Festival/Fringe or at New Year.

Great location cool spot

You’re in the heart of the action here. Perfect place and comfortable for 2-4. Would stay again. A location spot that is clean and on the affordable end. You don’t need the higher priced spots. The action is outside

Great Old Town flat

Excellent location for everything in the Old Town. Very modern flat with everything you need for two people. Despite being in a high density tourist location, very quiet. Outstanding communication with host - fast, detailed, answered any questions.

Fabulous Location in Historic Building

We were in awe of being right in the heart of the Royal Mile but with all of the conveniences of the modern day. Paul was extremely communicative and accommodating of our family’s needs. We would definitely recommend his lovely apartment.

A wonderful location

Our visit to Edinburgh felt more authentic for having stayed in Paul’s apartment overlooking the Royal Mile. The sights and sounds of Edinburgh surrounded us, from climbing the spiral stairs in James Court to the nearby sounds of the bagpipe that serenaded us through the open window. The apartment is modern and comfortable and there are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. We particularly appreciated the suggestions Paul has provided for his guests in a notebook.
