Amazing property

We loved this property. Large, clean, appointed well, comfortable perfect location. Roof top patio was huge and comfortable. Plenty of comfy sitting and a covered hammock which I took a nap on after a long day of sightseeing. Great and fast communication with owner. Alex even checked on us to see if we needed anything. Check in fast and easy. Lift to get up the 5 floors. Can say enough. We will definately stay again and recommend this place to others.

Great location for main sites in Rome

The property was excellent and we enjoyed using the roof terrace. We also found a supermarket very close by, so could easily get some food and wine. (This should be mentioned in the listing). The bedrooms were a good size and quiet. The kitchen was adequate. A table in the kitchen would be a useful addition. Also, there was no microwave, which I use all the time at home.I didn't find any shower caps in the bathroom. Everything else was good. The process of getting into the flat using a phone was far and away the worst feature. We agreed a late check-out time, which was really helpful, but unfortunately no-one bothered to change the check-out time for the automatic reset of the door lock. As a result, we were locked out with our cases inside the flat. What was good was there was a real key to get in the street door to the apartment block, but you had to use the phone combination lock to get into the apartment. We had to ring and re-ring the contact number, which fortunately we had with us, to get a reset on the lock so we could get our luggage. This was really stressful. If my friend had not been with me, with a phone that worked in Europe, I would still be standing outside the flat! There needs to be more consideration for guests who do not regularly use their phones or cannot use them in Europe in order to securely enter the flat.

Booked for Balcony and Washing machine

We stayed in Rome after two weeks of travel with my elderly, handicapped aunt. We specifically chose this listing for the balcony—so she could enjoy the outdoors since she can’t walk more than 20 feet—and for the washing machine, which we needed to refresh our clothes for the second half of our trip.Unfortunately, the apartment we originally booked was mistakenly double-booked and unavailable upon our arrival. Alex was apologetic and offered us a different unit in the same building. Because of this, I can’t speak to whether the photos match the apartment I had booked, since I never saw it.The alternate apartment had a broken, very musty washing machine. Leaving the lid open caused the whole place to smell unpleasant. This was disappointing, as it was one of the main reasons we chose the listing.Alex was responsive and accommodating when I reached out for missing essentials like coffee and toilet paper, and we were grateful a backup apartment was available at all. However, it was not well-suited for my aunt’s needs. The shower was too small for her to use safely, and the overall layout was difficult for her to navigate. That said, the apartment had beautiful, large windows and very comfortable beds. The building itself has a small, musty-smelling lift, and the front door is quite heavy—too much for my aunt to open on her own.The location is fantastic. I was able to walk to almost every major tourist attraction in a single morning.
