There is facilities for pets but we left ours with friend. It is a large house but feels cosy. We did have the log burner on a couple of times it was very cosy. Beds comfortable showers were powerful. Didn't use hot tub.Various games to play to.All in all we 14 guests enjoyed our stay.
It’s a lovely house with nice sized living room and a lovely kitchen and attached dining area. The owner has done a very good job in modernising the house and the decor is very nice. Our favourite feature was the large square dining table so we could see and chat to everyone at dinner time. The hot tub is nice. Overall we had a lovely time but there are a few minor niggles which we hadn’t expected from other reviews - including no blinds or even net curtains in main bedroom so could step out of shower in full view of house opposite - therefore had to keep curtains closed all week. It was a shame we couldn’t use the house towels for the hot tub and we nearly all had to come home with (our own) towels wet. Not too keen on having to strip off our own beds, made extra work for the adults on leaving day. Really disliked the loose throws over the sofas, made the room look untidy all the time. The surrounding area isn’t particularly lovely, neither are the local shops. But, we all realised if it had been 20 miles away in the Lake District it would have been double the price and therefore unaffordable.
