Guests will have private use of the whole property during their stay.

Most of the bedrooms at Bay View House can be either twin or double giving plenty of flexibility.



Stag and hen party groups are not permitted to stay at Bay View House.



The Neighborhood:

Grange-over-Sands is located on the doorstep of the Lake District, so it is easily accessible to some of the area's most famous spots, like Windermere, Ambleside, and the Langdale Pikes. There are plenty of walking, cycling, and boating options.



Alternatively you can enjoy a leisurely walk along the promenade, which offers fantastic views over Morecambe Bay. Or you can visit the nearby ornamental gardens which are a lovely spot for a peaceful stroll, with well-maintained flowerbeds and paths.



Just a short drive from Grange-over-Sands, Cartmel is a picturesque village known for its medieval priory, charming streets, and world-famous Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding. Take a walk around the village and try some local treats.



Getting Around:

Although the local area isn't a major transport hub, it does have well connected links to multiple destinations in the local region.



You will find train links on the West Coast Main Line which will take you to multiple destinations including; Lancaster, Barrow-in-Furness, Kendal, Morecombe and many more. If you wish to go further afield you will find frequent trains that run between Grange-over-Sands and Oxenholme Lake District, providing connections to other cities like Manchester, London, and Glasgow.



Grange-over-Sands is also served by bus routes linking it to other towns and cities in the region: Stagecoach operates several local bus services that connect Grange-over-Sands with Kendal, Barrow-in-Furness, Lancaster, and other surrounding villages. Bus routes 500, 505, and others provide services to nearby areas. The X6 and X35 routes link Grange-over-Sands with Kendal and the Lake District area.



For local trips, there are also shorter routes that connect the town with nearby locations.
