The property benefits from having living spaces (and the kitchen) on the first floor (taking advance of the excellent sea views) whilst all the bedrooms, plus the bathrooms, are located on the ground floor.

Other things to note:

The shingle on the beach in front of the house is sometimes very steep in order to protect our end of the island from flooding. In order for you to access the beach most easily, turn right out of the garden gate and walk 75 metres along the promenade to the steps that connect the beach to the car park.

Twice a year - in the spring and autumn, there is a program of works on the beach to replenish the shingle on the beach and to prevent local properties from flooding. This may cause disturbance to guests when they are operating machinery right in front of the property.
