This 3-bedroom house in Ryde is a short walk from the shops, passenger ferry, hovercraft and bus / train stations. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.

Downstairs has a lounge with TV and separate dining room. Patio doors lead to the outside decking and garden.

The kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and all the cookware and tableware needed for your stay. There is a washing machine in the utility cupboard upstairs.

Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

The main bathroom has a roll top bath, toilet and a walk-in shower. The second bathroom has a shower and a toilet.

Car parking is in the nearby council car park. Guests can buy a tourist parking permit which allows parking in most council-run car parks across the island. Permits must be bought using the phone app on the day of arrival.

Well behaved dogs are welcome in this property.

Bedding (pillows, pillowcases, quilts, quilt covers, sheets) are provided and beds will be made prior to your arrival. Towels (one bath towel and one hand towel per person) are also provided. Please note that beach towels are not provided.

We provide some essentials for your arrival such as a toilet roll and hand towel in each bathroom, and some tea, coffee, milk and biscuits in the kitchen so that you can check in and relax before going shopping and starting your holiday properly.

Please note that this is self-catering. The items provided are for your arrival, not for the duration of your stay.

We can book discounted ferry tickets for you with either Wightlink or Red Funnel. If you would like us to book discounted ferry tickets for you, please ask once you have completed your booking.

Excellent location. Description was accurate. Response from Agency was very quick and helpful.Pet friendly with no extra charge. Comfy bed in the main bedroom. Ware and tear in a few areas, but didn't affect our stay.Older house, so all rooms were spaciousHighly recommended, will definitely stay again.Good value for money too.

Lovely spacious house

House was great, large, flooded with natural light, with good facilities, garden a bit over grown.Dog friendly but dogs aren't allowed upstairs, luckily our dog is used to not going upstairs but there is no way to stop them!House has sea views which is a lovely Soundproofing needs to be improved between basement flat and main house, on the first night i thought someone was in the house which was unsettling and you can hear general conversations from the flat below, they weren't loud at all, there is just an interal door between floors which is locked. Even closing a door sounded like it was in our part of the house.Overall it is a great house, in great location and i would recommend it but Soundproofing lets it down.Soundproofing n

There are three car ferry routes to the Isle of Wight, operated by Wightlink from Portsmouth and Lymington, and Red Funnel from Southampton. We can book discounted ferry tickets for you with both Wightlink and Red Funnel, subject to terms and availability.

This property is a short walk from the seafront and pier in Ryde. If you are travelling by public transport, we recommend that you travel from Portsmouth by Wightlink Fastcat to Ryde Pier Head or Hovertravel Hovercraft to Ryde seafront. There is a short walk or train journey down the pier to the seafront.

You do not need a car if you are on holiday in this property, as it is about 5 minutes' walk from the main shopping streets, seafront, hovercraft terminal, pier and Fastcat ferry, train station and bus station. There are frequent bus services all over the island.

If you prefer to drive parking is in the nearby public car park. We recommend that guests buy a Tourist Permit which allows parking in most council-run car parks across the island. Information for the Tourist Permits is sent with the directions and check-in information about 1 week before arrival.

What makes this property unique

Ryde, fondly known as The Gateway to the Island, is the largest town on the Isle of Wight and became popular as a holiday destination in the 1820s. Today, the regular ferry, catamaran and hovercraft services make this lovely resort accessible for all.

There’s so much to see and do, catering for all ages and interests including a wide range of shops, pubs and restaurants, whilst the 6 miles of super, gently sloping sandy beaches are ideal for bathing. Along the esplanade there are bowling greens, tenpin bowling, crazy golf, children’s rides and playgrounds, swimming pool and woodland walks in Appley Park.

With many other attractions within easy reach, Ryde provides a superb base for touring this picturesque island.

This is a self-contained property, and you can come and go as suits you. You do not need to contact us to check in or out. The key for entry is in a Master Key Safe outside the property, so you can let yourselves in at check in time.

A few days before your holiday, we will send you a message on TripAdvisor with directions to the property. The key safe code will be sent by text message from IWVacations shortly before check-in time at 5pm. Please note that early check-in is not available.

Although you do not need to meet us, we are normally nearby and available by phone, text message or email, 8am to 10pm. If you have any problems, something is not working, need advice on tourist attractions or anything, please do feel free to contact us.
