'Monktonmead Lodge' with private indoor pool. Secluded location, near to Ryde.

Scandanavian style Monktonmead Lodge is one of two lodges set in the grounds of Arethusa Cottage, within Pig Leg Lane 'natural' nature reserve. It is secluded, but within walking distance to Ryde town and beach. Available to book all year round, it has a double room, bunk room (adult size beds) and a loft area in the eaves with twin beds at floor level - not suitable for the very young or elderly. The lodge has a modern kitchen with induction hob, oven, microwave, full size fridge/freezer and plenty of storage, there is a breakfast bar (2 stools) overlooking the garden. The a bathroom has a toilet / wash basin, shower pod, washing machine and storage area. The living space opens onto a private decking area with seating and gas BBQ. The dining table, in the living space, seats up to 6 (4 chairs and 2 stools). There is a smart TV and free internet. Guests staying at Monktonmead have use of a 9m x 5m heated indoor*pool open daytime and evening from February half term to October half term inclusive (this shared with guests at one other lodge). Guests also have use of the owners large garden with various seating areas and and a large pond with Koi Carp. The immediate area is quiet although the Island Train Line runs at the rear of the property and this can be heard from the lodge (it's not a busy line though!).
