This wonderful Casita/Studio is located near to all the fun travel destinations that Southern California has to offer
yet is quiet, private and away from the crowds. Private entrance and a place to unwind and just enjoy the
beautiful and art-filled tropical gardens.
1 Queen Bed w/lovely linens for comfortable sleeping, a Flip Sofa for added sleeping space, Full bathroom and large walk in shower, Kitchenette with all the necessities.

PLEASE NOTE: We are 100% No Smoking/ Vaping/Drugs or Pets... if you can't abide by these rules, please don't choose to stay at our property.

This place is a quiet little gem. All you hear are the birds chirping outside. There was homemade banana bread in our room and cold water in the fridge after a very long drive from Phoenix.. their backyard is like an oasis in paradise. You can swing and listen to the trickle of their fountain while looking up at the palm trees.. you honestly could just have a private getaway without going to the beach. Even though the beach is only 15 minutes away.. The weather was perfect as well. The room was clean and comfy too. All the details were so thoughtful.. You have to check it out yourself.

This is a lovely, charming, cozy casita. The host is friendly and communicative. Very Serene

Nancy has created a beautiful, relaxing environment. The Casita is well stocked, and comfortable, even a home made treat waiting for you. We will definitely stay again.

Great place!

If available, I will be staying again! Your own off street parking, private entrance and courtyard. The space is very well utilized and has all the things you'd need for a stay. In a nice neighborhood and close to shops, dining, beaches of Oceanside and Carlsbad

There is one word to describe our visit at this Casita, enchanting! Now that is not a word usually associated with staying in a studio setting, and the more we describe our experience, I know you'll find yourself wondering if we're family members of the hosts, but I assure you we are not. In fact, with so many perfect previous reviews, we, frankly, were somewhat skeptical. We stay at 4-5 VRBO properties each year, and we've never seen such a long list of great reviews, but that is exactly how we will describe our visit. Before you even arrive, Nancy is the master of communication and a truly gracious hostess. She helped us with planning the perfect visit to the area, and we took advantage of every recommendation. Then when you finally do arrive, the private gate to the property opens the enchanting private multi-level backyard, full of flowers, shade, a fountain, and hummingbirds. Yes, hummingbirds everywhere! When we first heard about them, we were hoping that we might be lucky enough to see one or two. In fact, we saw them all the time, from dusk to dawn, flitting around the backyard and feeding at one of the many feeders located around the backyard. Truly amazing. The accommodations are first rate, with a great bed, lots of hot water, a very surprisingly well-stocked kitchenette, lots of books, (I guess if you tire of watching the hummingbirds), and nearly soundproof when you want it to be. Actually, we enjoyed leaving the screen door open and listening to the fountain!

Perfect Casita

Nice casita with a great view. The casita’s view of the serene backyard & water fountain was so perfect and calming. Quiet neighborhood area and close to freeway but not with the freeway noises! Close to a lot of food places. So many nice touches for a perfect stay! We booked to go again!

Don’t look elsewhere - this place is absolutely perfect! Literally my husband and I felt like we were at our own private resort! Nancy thought of everything! She even went out of her way to make chocolate banana bread for us! Absolutely perfect!

Great location

Cute casita with fresh plants, box windows, great view. The beds are comfortable. I love the option of fireplace and a/c. The casita has everything that you need and more! My husband forgot a razor and they had one for us! That’s was so nice! This is our second stay here. We will definitely be booking again when we come back to the area. The fresh banana bread takes it over the top!

Peaceful Oasis

If you're looking for a quiet and cozy place to recharge or use as a home base for other spots in North County, this is your spot. Beauitful little space that is perfect for two people, decorated with inspirational messages. And the outside is pretty during the day and lit with twinkling lights in the evening. Host is friendly and wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will use it again in future travels to the area.

Amazing find

We needed a place to stay for a few days to attend a concert before we headed up to Pasadena to visit our daughter. We found this lovely casita not too far from the venue but close to breweries that we had not explored yet. The unit had everything we needed and the outside space was very peaceful. We realized we needed to stay an additional night a few weeks before the trip and Nancy was very accommodating. Thanks so much Nancy & Jim for sharing your lovely casita. Retirement is only a year away for us and we plan to come back and stay a little longer next time.

get to enjoy seeing our 6 grandchildren grow which is
a true blessing to us.
Our Casita was born in 2012 (having a builder for a husband is great) :-) thus fulfilling my dream to
have a sweet little place for friends and family to enjoy; giving all who visit a place to rest, recharge
and discover new and interesting places to see and experience.

Why they chose this property

We built on this property because of the central location to anything and everything you may ever need, but, far enough away to have peace and quiet. Having an ocean view and beautiful sunsets is a wonderful added bonus!

What makes this property unique

Our Casita is located 3 minutes from the 78 Hwy so getting around is incredibly easy. Once here you will be surrounded by our gardens with lovely mosaic tile work, that I have enjoyed creating through the years, and beautiful running fountain to add to the peacefulness and enjoyment of visiting birds, butterflies and dragonflies too.
