The apartment was in a very convenient & safe location. We were able to walk to restaurants & markets in Testaccio &Trastevere & had easy access to Rome.The apartment was basic but had everything we needed. There was a musty smell at times. The bedroom had A/C, so we slept well but we were glad to be leaving at the end of April as temps were rising & the rest of the apartment was hot. The host was kind to leave a binder of info about the area that included recommended restaurants..
