Nestled in the heart of Trastevere, one of the oldest and most picturesque districts of Rome’s Historic Center, this elegant 18th-century apartment offers an authentic Roman experience. Located in a historic palazzo dating back to the 1700s, the apartment preserves original architectural features such as wooden ceilings and terracotta walls, blending timeless charm with modern comfort.

Trastevere is renowned for its cobblestone streets, vibrant nightlife, artisan boutiques, and authentic Roman trattorias. Despite its lively atmosphere, the apartment is situated on a quiet and safe street (Via della Scala), ensuring peaceful rest while placing you within walking distance of Rome’s major landmarks, including Piazza Navona, the Vatican, Campo de’ Fiori, and the Pantheon. Numerous bus lines also connect the area to the rest of the city.

Fully renovated in 2018, the apartment offers a harmonious mix of comfort, functionality, and historic character. With 70 m² (750 ft²) of space, it comfortably accommodates families, couples, or small groups.

The apartment includes:

A) Two Spacious Bedrooms:

- Bedroom 1 (24 m² / 258 ft²): Bright and airy, with two soundproof windows overlooking the quiet Via della Scala. It features a comfortable double bed, a sofa, a living area with a table and chairs, and air conditioning.

- Bedroom 2 (18 m² / 193 ft²): Overlooking a peaceful inner courtyard, this room also includes a double bed and air conditioning.

B) Living Room & Dining Area: Elegantly furnished with a sofa, large dining table, and a high chair for children; with fully Equipped Kitchen: Includes a refrigerator with freezer and ice maker, gas stove, oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, and all essential kitchenware.

C) Bathroom: Complete with a shower, hair dryer, complimentary toiletries (soap & shampoo), and fresh towels and linens provided at no extra cost.

Family-Friendly Amenities: We welcome children and provide a baby crib and high chair free of charge.

Fun place in the heart of Trastevere

The apartment is a short walk from many attractions and some of Google's highest-rated restaurants in Trastevere are just steps away. That also means it's loud all night long (including seagulls and fighting cats), so bring earplugs. But Rosarip and Angelo are great hosts who arranged to have a driver pick us up from the airport. We had a wonderful stay here!

Great stay

We loved our stay in Trastevere, it is a great location for all the sights. We walked everywhere and the neighborhood had great restaurants and a great vibe. The owner showed us everything, We were able to store our luggage because we arrived early, she arranged transportation to Airport and Train. Would definitely stay here again.

Trastevere!!

Perfect location in a spectacularly busy neighborhood of Rome. Many places to eat and enjoy a Roman experience! The property is near taxis and a bus line and wonderful walking tours of the city! A little noisy but only if you leave windows open and sleep in the room fronting the street! Rosario’s was great about communications and helpful with transit to and from the airports. Highly recommend!

Historical center of Rome

This apartment was perfect for my wife and I for out trip to Rome and Rosaria couldn’t have been more helpful. For starters we arrived early for check in but Rosaria s there waiting and ready for us. Secondly, she arranged a private transport to pick us up at the airport and to take us back after our stay. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked great. The place also has super easy access to local restaurants and public transportation.

Nice place to stay

We had a nice stay in this apartment: it's in the middle of a lively neigbourhood and at walking distance to the centre of Rome. Because of the location, there's quite some noise in the evening/night (despite the double glass windows), so if you sleep in the front bedroom, wearing earbuds may be desirable. The host was very kind and responded quickly. We definitely recommend this place!

The property met all our expectations. We were in a busy area with restaurants, cafes and lots of people. Our host was very helpful and friendly. She met us when we checked in and showed us everything we needed to know about the apartment. We would definitely stay again.

Loved staying here. We used the driver service that is offered to easily hit the ground running when we got to Rome. Close to nearby shops, tons of delicious restaurants, and a vibrant night life. My friend said the main bedroom could be loud but I heard almost nothing in the second bedroom.

You are steps away to great food and drinks. And late night gelato! The apartment is stocked with everything you need and a big fridge. Rosaria was available by message out entire stay. We kept the front windows closed at night and the street noise was not a issue. Overall it was a great stay

Great location, great apartment!

The place was nice, the hosts were helpful and the location was great. The only issue was noise from the street but thats the location. They had double pane windows which was as good as it gets. This neighborhood is up until 2am! Great accommodation though, would come again and recommend!

Great location, great hosts, would definitely stay again!

The first thing about this apartment is the great location. It's on a lively street with no cars and lots of shops, restaurants, gelato, etc. The scene is so fun! The kids are out late but I didn't mind the fun happening on the street below. The kitchen is adequate for prepping small easy meals. We had breakfast in the apartment every morning. -- there are a couple grocery stores close by. We stayed there for two weeks and enjoyed everything Rome and Trastevere has to offer!

Great location

The flat as in a great location, but very noisy! Bars were open till 2:45 on some nights- super loud! The light came in thru bedroom window( need black put blinds) closest to the street- just loud! Bed was super comfortable and room temperature was fine. The check in process requires a person, so no late night checking allowed…which was tough for us since our flight as very late.

The apartment was small but suited our needs for a short stay. Clean and efficient but the hot water only stayed hot for a short time and the plumbing made loud noises while anything was being used. The master bedroom was spacious but right above a very busy square with bars/dining and stays pretty loud until early morning. It was a good location to get around but the noise was too much for us to get any sleep.

Good Location - helpful owners

We actually rented the two apartments on the first floor opening up into each other - plenty of room and well equipped. The owner was on the spot to take us there and explained everything. And on departure, once again explained everything nicely and called us a taxi for all our items. The location puts you right in the center of the activity so very convenient for restaurants, bars, shopping and treks to the various sites around Rome. We did do a lot of walking. The only suggestion would be an upgrade on towels and a little more work on cleaning the floors. They were somewhat gritty requiring shoes at all times.

Trastevere- where to stay!

This property is in the Trastevere neighborhood of Rome. Good location, fun happening neighborhood with lots of great cafes, bars and outdoor eating all around. Great place for seeing all the sights. We walked everywhere but we like to walk. I do know there is public transportation available but we found everything we wanted to see was easily reachable by foot. Same side of the river as the Vatican. Host was very good to work with and was able to hook us up with a car/ride from the airport. It is on a busy street in Trastevere and I suppose the nightlife could get a little loud but it was perfect for us as we were part of the night life. Highly recommend.

Cozy apartment in convenient lively location

This cozy apartment in Trastevere is located in the heart of the neighbourhood action. It offers the convenience of walking to many of Rome's main tourist sites. It is on a busy narrow street with popular bars and restaurants. The two bedrooms are comfortable and well appointed; however, the lively atmosphere of the street below is disruptive with its stores (music) and young bar patrons. There is a reason that the neighbourhood is referred to as the "movida". It moves and shakes at all hours of the day. The apartment has a certain old world charm with a pretty decor. The bathroom is adequate but the shower is small and the water does not heat up well. The high wood ceilings offer architectural interest but result in a rather dark interior. The hosts were wonderful. They were incredibly communicative and helpful. Upon our arrival, Rosaria met us at the taxi she had arranged for us from the airport. She showed us around the apartment and was in touch as needed throughout our stay. She arranged transport back to the airport at the end of the week and again met us to see us off. We enjoyed our stay but found the apartment very noisy.

Literally In the Heart of Trastevere

Positives: 1. Great location right in the middle of Trastevere. 2. Very helpful and cooperative owners. 3. Very traditional style apartment. Quaint. 4. Clean, safe and comfortable. Negatives: 1. Leaking ceiling from the apartment above. 2. Internet connection is to a terrible and ancient DSL line whose connection was woefully inadequate if you could get it at all. 3. Without the ac on the street noise well into the early morning is intense from the bar crowd. Via della Scala is like being on the boardwalk.

Ideal location, good facilities, clean, helpful owner

This property is in an ideal location, a quaint old area of Rome with many bars and restaurants along narrow cobbled streets. Not far from the Tiber, it only takes 15 mins or so to walk to Campo de' Fiori and about 20 mins to the Vatican. It is also only a 5-10 min walk to the bus and tram stops for an easy journey to Rome's sights and attractions. The apartment itself has two good sized bedrooms, a well equipped kitchenette with a dining table and sofa, and a bathroom (no bath, just a shower which suited us fine). It was very clean,the owner met us and gave information about the apartment and the area. It was a beautiful place to stay. The streetlight outside was quite bright into the front bedroom (thicker curtains?) and the chattering in the street did disturb me a bit for the first night or so, but I got used to it and slept very well for the rest of the week. Also, the shower was a good powerful one, but unfortunately the showerhead holder struggled to hold it in place. These were minor things though-it is a charming apartment in a beautiful area in one of the most iconic cities in the world. We would definitely stay here again.
