About this property
Port 531 by Savynomad Harbour Residences wow Seaviews
Exhilarating....it's like being in the control centre of the whole Grand Harbour. This quaint historical house in central Valletta is close to the bus terminus, shops, restaurants and Valletta's historic monuments and culture centres. A ground floor studio apartment which commands amazing views opposite St Angelo's Fortifications: High vaulted ceilings, authentic Maltese patterned floor tiles with all the modern amenities thrown in. Work smart, play hard, rest easy the Savynomad way.
The space
Experience the brand new feeling of this recently refurbished small traditional townhouse. This quaint accomodation comes with what you need to relax or to be productive: A table that doubles as a working desk with blazing speed internet access, wired ethernet, USB charging points and universal socket that keep you productive: Ideal for Digital Nomads. A separate and well equipped kitchen inclusive of washer-dryer for longer term accomodation, espresso machine, toaster, microwave and oven, hob, ironing facilities, air conditioning, a sizeable high pressure shower, king size bed, plush 3-person sofa, TV with the possibility to access your Netflix subscription and other channels, etc. Plus your large double height windows to sit back and watch the world go by.
Just a heads-up: a neighbouring property (not ours!) is being renovated from now until October 2025, Monday to Saturday. You might see some scaffolding but your amazing harbour views and entrance remain clear. Work happens only between 9am and 5:30pm, and the neighbour has agreed to keep noise to a minimum.
Guest access
Set in an idyllic pedestrian street, the studio accomodation is easily accessible by car from St Anthony Street. Free non-metered street parking lies around the corner. During weekdays between 8am and 3pm, parking in the vicinity can be a challenge .
Other things to note
The property has just been completely refurbished but all the original heritage features have been kept and painstakingly restored. The main Sala Nobile room has double height ceiling, 4 meters high with beautiful stone arches. It accommodates the bedroom, living and dining area. There's a separate private bathroom and a separate private kitchen in this apartment.
It is good for guests to know that this home is a restored historic 500 year old building that shows the traditional Maltese architecture and the beauty of the exposed Maltese stone and vaulted ceilings. Due to the porous nature of Maltese globigerina limestone and the way these buildings were constructed hundreds of years ago, the honey-coloured stone walls tend to flake a little. Through the stay expect to see some tiny flakes here and there. It's part of the experience of living in an authentic Maltese townhouse in Valletta. Shower cubicle height: 186cm
