Summary:
Bourne Cottage is a charming three-bedroom retreat that blends traditional character with modern comfort. Sleeping up to seven and welcoming pets, it’s ideal for families or groups. The Space:
Welcome to Bourne Cottage, your perfect dog-friendly getaway in the enchanting village of Castleton, Peak District!
This charming 300-year-old cottage invites you to step back in time while enjoying all the modern comforts you desire. With its beautiful original 300-year-old + Yorkshire stone floors, Bourne Cottage beautifully blends history with cozy elegance.
Inside, you will find three inviting bedrooms and an additional single Jay bed (a fold-up bed) if needed, perfect for restful nights and lazy mornings.
The bathroom features a relaxing shower over the bath, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Gather around in the separate dining and living rooms, where you can share meals and create lasting memories.
The living room is the heart of the home, complete with a full smart TV and an Xbox S accompanied by two controllers and a variety of games that promise fun for both kids and adults alike. As the sun sets, the electric fireplace sets a warm and inviting atmosphere for cozy evenings spent together.
Enjoy the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation at Bourne Cottage—your ideal home away from home!
Outside, a secure garden provides the perfect space for dogs to run freely. (Please note the garden is a shared walk through to the post office and coffee shop but very rarely used). Conveniently located, Bourne Cottage offers free on-street parking during the week (excluding bank holidays) (subject to availability) and paid parking nearby at weekends (including bank holidays) (Peak Hotel).
Positioned right next to local shops and just a short stroll from Castleton’s restaurants and 7 pubs, this is the ideal base for a relaxing, dog-friendly getaway in the Peak District.
