Pitlochry and Moulin, nestled in the heart of Scotland, offer a delightful blend of natural beauty, history, and adventure. Pitlochry, a charming Victorian town, is known for its scenic landscapes and friendly locals. Visitors can explore the Blair Athol Distillery, one of the oldest in Scotland, and sample its smooth single malt whisky. The town also boasts the Queen’s View, offering panoramic views of Loch Tummel and the iconic Schiehallion mountain. For the active traveller, Ben Vrackie provides a rewarding hike with stunning vistas at its summit. Moulin, a short walk from the house, is a quaint village near Pitlochry and is rich in history and offers a peaceful retreat. The Moulin Walk is a popular way to explore the area, leading adventurers through picturesque settings and revealing the region’s Victorian heritage. For those seeking a circular route, the Moulin, Pitlochry Dam, and Edradour walk combine rural and mountain views with a visit to the smallest traditional distillery in Scotland, Edradour.

The region is also a hub for cultural activities, with the Pitlochry Festival Theatre presenting a variety of performances. Moreover, the Enchanted Forest event in Faskally Wood is a magical experience not to be missed, especially during the autumn months when the woodlands are ablaze with colour. Whether it’s the thrill of bungee jumping, the tranquillity of a loch-side stroll, or the rich taste of traditional Scottish hospitality, Pitlochry and Moulin offer something for every holiday maker.
