A Wonderful Waterfront Apartment in the Heart of the Amalfi Coast

The apartment is located in Maiori, a very pretty village on the heart of Amalfi Cost, 50 metres far from the main sandy beach and just in the centre of the village. The apartment is just in the centre of the village, so all restaurants, bars and shops are very near to the apartment and reachable by walk. The apartment has a surface of about 120 m² and has four rooms: two bedrooms, one dining room, kitchen, two bathroom and a terrace of about 100 m2. The two bedroom have a double bed each one. The dining room has a sofa for an extra person,TV/Sat, a table for six people. The kitchen area furnished with oven, microwave, toaster, boiler and full cooking utensils .First Bathroom has shower, WC and bidet and the second bathroom is inside one of the two bedroom and has shower and only bidè. The terrace has table for six, four beach chairs, a garden sofa, sun curtains and garden umbrella. The apartment has a wi-fi internet connection and all rooms are equipped of conditioned air, linen and towels. The rates on the website are set for two persons occupying the apartment and may change if the apartment is occupied by four or five persons.

Beautiful Maiori Apartment with Terrace

The apartment is clean and well appointed. The terrace was stunning with gorgeous views of the coast. Centrally located we had easy access to the bus and ferry, markets and restaurants. We made day trips to Pompeii, Ravello, Salerno, and Napoli. Highly recommend the apartment.

Perfection!

We spent 4 days here and within seconds wanted to move in permanently! It is so stylish, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Very well equipped with all appliances, towels, kitchen appliances etc. And then the balcony is just amazing. So big, many areas to sit and relax, beautiful furniture and just stunning views. Highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful apartment, very clean with wonderful kitchen. Best feature was the lovely wrap-around balcony. We enjoyed coffee in the mornings and wine in the evenings on the balcony. We are looking forward to going back before long.

I had been looking at this apartment and it's many five star reviews for years and finally was able to make the trip. It was more than I could have dreamed of. The apartment itself is far roomier than the photos suggest. You feel quite at home and able to spread out with a sense of luxury in each well decorated room. The kitchen was small but highly functional and we ate in two nights just to take in another beautiful sunset from the deck. The bed was very cozy and the air conditioning kept us plenty comfortable for sleep. The deck is as everyone says -- just the most incredible spot. We loved our morning coffees and our evening wine. Afternoons of reading and relaxing. There is much to find and do in the local areas and a quick swim in the ocean in the late afternoon daily made it the perfect location. I would not hesitate to recommend this beautiful home. The elevator was a nice break from stairs too! So much to recommend but the deck, yes it is as good as you could dream about.

An amazing view from Maiori

Although we had many raining days the location of this property and and the large beautiful terrace and our friends still made for a wonderful trip. This is our second time at this VRBO and is definitely our favorite. Extremely clean and Olympia is always welcoming and helpful. It was a Birthday celebration and this is a great place to celebrate any occasion. Grazie

Gem on the Beach

This amazing penthouse is 1.5 kms away from Almalfi. We took the advice of a friend and made sure we didnt have to hike 3 kms to get to the beach or to town centre. location is as advertised. 2 minute walk to the beach, or a restaurant. patio is huge, so if you chose to you could relax on your patio. Highly reccomended

Wonderful week in Maiori

This is a beautiful apartment with a top floor view overlooking the coast. An amazing location, we had lots of fun. Many restaurants nearby, bakeries and coffee shops as well. Just delightful! The apartment is spacious, beautiful, bright, and well appointed. Many adventures along the Amalfi coast. Path of the Lemons starts in Maiori. Great walk. Thanks for a wonderful time. We highly recommend this stay.

Lovely apartment with amazing views

The photos doesnt do it justice.. The apartment was spacious, modern , very clean, and the views from the big terrace was awsome! Location was great, walking distance to some good resturants, supermarkets , and 10 minutes to the ferry terminal to get to other islands.... I would stay there again, the hosts were very helpful if we needed them! It really is a home away from home, you have everything you need in that apartment, and the so beautiful views of the sea and mountains...

Fantastic vacation!

We had the best vacation, Olimpia’s apartment was everything we expected and more! Maiori is beautiful with many restaurants nearby and the beach across the road was a bonus. The view from the super large deck was nothing less than amazing!!! It was he perfect locations for ferry day trips and one can’t miss the Lemon 🍋 Path hike between Maiori and Minori which gifted us with additional beautiful views and we were immersed in the local culture. We had gorgeous weather. Olimpia was a super host and the apartment had everything we ever needed. The washing machine was handy! Will definitely stay here again!

Very beautiful water front property. Easy to catch ferry to all the towns of Amalfi coast.

The main highlight of the house is it's huge terrace with a beautiful view of the mediterranean sea. The apartment is well maintained. The shower in the second bathroom needs a door so that the water does not come out of the shower area. Only one another thing I suggest is they need to have a fan in the living room as it gets really hot in summer even during the night. This is because when someone wants to sit inside, the need to close the patio doors arise because of insects. Our host Olimpia was really helpful. Overall our stay at this apartment was amazing.

Absolutely Beautiful!

This property was superb. The terrace was amazing with incredible views of the mountain & the sea. The interior was so much larger than the pictures show. Views from every room & the kitchen terrace was a bonus. Clothesline & a deep sink that was perfect for hand washing small clothing items. The washing machine was great for larger laundry. I spent almost a month here & the kitchen was more than adequate for cooking meals. The proximity to two grocery stores was perfect. A butcher shop around the corner, fabulous restaurants within a short walk. And no stairs unless you walked the Lemon Path. Olimpia was very helpful & a pleasure to meet. And the Barbaro Car service was excellent in providing transfers to & from Naples Airport.

The best views and location for a 5 star holiday

The terrace has the most fantastic views of the Amalfi coast plus great furniture for sun baking or lounging to eating, the apartment is light with tremendous space, large bedrooms and bathrooms. The location is very central and we could walk easily everywhere including the local ferry that can take you anywhere on the coast, is a short 8 minute walk. There are great restaurants in a 5 minute radius of the apartment, and the local supermarket is underneath the building, plus a local market on Friday in the town center. Truly, the apartment is the very best in luxury and appointments nothing has been overlooked. We had the best 7 nights of our trip with the locals putting on firework displays 3 nights out of the 7 which we watched from the terrace with a glass of wine, a fantastic experience.

Exceptional location and spacious apartment with a beautiful terrace and view

The apartment was everything we could wish for. Spotlessly clean, great location, superb view, light and airy and very spacious. Great access with a lift and private parking! The town of Maiori is the pick of places to stay on the Amalfi Coast as it's still very much a working village. Nice and flat with a wide, gorgeous beach to swim in and fantastic access via ferry or SITA bus to the more touristy (and pricey) glamour villages of Amalfi, Positano, Capri etc. The walk to Minori via the Lemon Path is gorgeous too! The local restaurants are very reasonably priced and great value. The apartment had all the facilities needed including a washing machine and heaps of clothes line space to quickly dry several loads at once. The apartment is breathtaking as you walk in. It feels like you’ve entered an Italian villa. The terrace goes on and on with views that make you think you are in a fairy tale. So much space!!! You can see the ocean, the promenade and the sunset from your private deck. Both bedrooms are very large and could easily accommodate two couples. The one bathroom has a leak and is not currently available to guests which might have been an issue if it was not just my husband and I travelling. Everything was spotless and the washer easy to use. Check in was great. We were able to check in early, but if we hadn’t been able to, the host offered to store our bags for us. We did use the elevator to get our bags to the the fifth floor, but after that, we took the stairs as the elevator did not work well and we were worried about getting trapped in it. Therefore, if mobility is an issue for you, you should keep that in mind. It’s wonderful that you have tonnes of restaurants within arms reach, as well as a grocery store next door. The ferry ticket office is within view of the apartment and ferries to other towns within as easy 10 minute walk. The one downside of all this convenience is that the traffic noise from your balcony is constant as you are on the main coastal route. For us, this impeded our ability to relax. It’s a trade off - noise versus convenience - and one to consider.

Great location, beautiful views

Spacious, nicely decorated apartment on the top floor. For us the best feature was the very large terrace with multiple seating and lounging areas. Its largely private with mostly unencumbered views that include the Maiori beach, waterfront and the Amalfi coast in both directions. The building is a 1/2 block off the main road and adjacent waterfront and easy walking distance to the ferry terminal, the taxi stand and all the local services. A market is adjacent. There's lots of storage for clothes and the elevator makes luggage transport easy. The kitchen is functional although we made little use of it. Of the 2 baths only 1 has a toilet but both are nicely equipped otherwise. The primary bedroom opens to the beach facing terrace - weather permitting it's nice to leave the door open at night to hear the surf. The building is high enough that a lot of the noise from the tourist activity from the beach and promenade is muted. If the doors and shutters are closed there is virtually no noise. Overall the space was so relaxing we found ourselves hanging out more than we expected.

What a Fabulous Experience!

I can't say enough good things about Antonello and Olympia's apartment in Maiori. Maiori is a lovely town away from the tourist areas but close enough should you want to visit. The apartment is spacious, immaculate and comfortable. The balcony is magnificent. Such beautiful views at all times of the day or night. Lovely flowers everywhere. There is a good size supermarket downstairs as well as many good places to eat, drink or just be. Olympia met us warmly and helped us get settled. We only needed her help once in 9 days and she responded with 3 resources for us in about 30 minutes. We took a few afternoon trips by ferry which is so close you can see it from the balcony. Minori( 5 minutes by ferry) was cute and uncrowded on a weekday as was Ravello (40 minutes by cab). Both worth visiting. We took the ferry to Amalfi on a Saturday and it was quite crowed perhaps from a cruise ship. It was hard to tear ourselves away from reading, eating and/or relaxing on the terrace. Truly the pictures don't do the apartment justice. We have traveled extensively to many parts of the world over 4 decades and this was one of our very favorite trips. This place was amazing! Beautiful view, comfy outdoor lounging, spacious rooms, close to supermarket and restaurants. The only thing we overlooked on the listing is that one of the bedrooms doesn’t have a toilet, just a bidet, so the 4 of us had to share one bathroom…but it’s workable. The deck and view alone made it worth it though! We will stay here again if we come back!

What more can you say than the actuality of the property was even better than the pictures? Two very large bedrooms around a great room with a terrace overlooking the Amalfi Coast...clean and accessible. Maiori was the perfect spot to hop to all the other cities via trail, ferry, and Vespa!! Absolutely perfect.

Great Apartment, great view, great location

We stayed at the property for 5 nights. Our host could not have been better — she met us at the apartment, showed us everything and then helped arranged a taxi for us when it was time to leave. The photos of the outside patio and views were accurate. The photos of the inside did not do the apartment justice — it was very nice. It is steps to a grocery store and 3 good restaurants and a block from the main strip in town. The view of the coast is wonderful. Only one word of caution — when you first get to the building entry, it doesn’t necessarily look like what you expect. When you get upstairs (and there is a lift), that all changes.
