Property was amazing and Gerry was very helpful! The listing is in Pogerola, not Amalfi. It is nice to get out of Amalfi - Pogerola is much quieter and has a great view. To get to the property, you have to take the SITA bus, which you can find right by the ferry ports. It’s cheap and only a 20min ride.

Don Ciccio house was fantastic. The room was clean and the town was quiet. The only thing I would say is that the listing is not directly in Amalfi but a 20min bus ride in a small town called Pogerola. This however was a pleasant surprise since Pogerola is much quieter and there is an old path you can walk and be down in Amalfi in 30min. Other than that Gerry is a great host and provides very exciting experiences. I would definitely stay here again!

Don Ciccio house is not a 1 minute walk from Amalfi beach, as VRBO states! It is a 20 minute bus ride up to a small mountain village from Amalfi town.The benefit though, is that after a busy day with crowds in the tourist spots, you come back to a peaceful, quiet, small village to relax! The apartment is very clean and has a well stocked kitchen. Make sure you are okay dragging luggage on stairs to get there.The extra bonus is Gerry! (He is your host) Gerry not only has the pub close by, he has tickets, excursions, knowledge and is a general good guy!
