I would give zero stars if I could. This flat is uninhabitable and filthy, and the posted photos were deceiving. We couldn't stay and had to check in to the Marriott next door. There was water damage (warped panels and a soaked board of wood covering a hole) and a moldy smell in the kitchen. The entire flat (floor, beds, surfaces) was covered in long dark hairs and pubic hair. Food crumbs and built up filth were over the floor. The walls, doors, and moldings were covered in dark yellow splotches (maybe urine or cooking grease?) and there were other wall-to-wall scratches and marks throughout. In the main sitting room, there were brown stains that looked like feces smeared all over the wall. The bathroom stunk of urine and was also covered in hair. There are no carbon monoxide or smoke alarms in the unit. When I brought this up to the rental company, the rep told me it was okay since there were some elsewhere in the building. This is a very basic (and cheap) safety feature, and it's absurd that the rental company wouldn't even do the bare minimum to keep their guests safe. Aside from the obvious health and safety hazards, the overall presentation of the place was completely dismal- broken handles, missing and flickering lightbulbs, thin and frayed towels, tilted and upside- down wall hangings, and a very sad-looking ornamental bunny with a broken arm in the entryway. Obtaining a refund from the rental company has proven futile, and I submitted a dispute with my credit card co.
