We had a wonderful weekend stay at this Condo. The owner made sure we knew everything about his unit before we even got there by sending a well detailed pamphlet of all the information we could need about the check in process, the amenities, and the check out process. He followed up with a text message the day before our arrival to make sure we had no questions and that gave us an even easier way to communicate if needed. The weekend was relaxing and the view could not be beat. We saw some truly gorgeous sunsets. If I find my way back to Smith Mountain Lake and need a place to stay I will not hesitate to try to book this condo again.

A wonderful few days spent at Bernard's Landing! Very nice place to stay as well as beautiful views of the lake! Great place to walk and the indoor poop and hot tub were so nice during the winter! Chris was a great help with any questions we had!

Great Neighborhood

Barnards Landing was a great neighborhood to take some quiet time and also have several amenities. This was my first time at Smith Mountain Lake and it was beautiful and the condo was perfect for what I needed.

Relaxing on SML

Trailered our boat from PA for a weekend getaway. The location was beautiful and so was the condo. Dinner at Napolis a short walk away, was delicious. Easy boat ramp access and slip. We’ll be back

Lake Getaway!

The view is amazing!!! Very clean and comfortable condo. Communication was outstanding. We rented a boat (local marina )for the stay and were able to dock right in front of the condo. Chris DeBusk was an awesome host! We will be back!

It was quite cramped inside - the picture angles make it look bigger than it is - and communication was not great, but otherwise fine.

Great little condo with spectacular views and every amenity we could think of. We enjoyed our time there, however the scent of the dryer sheets used in laundering the sheets and towels was so overpowering it filled the whole condo and made using the linens very unpleasant.

Beautiful stay!!!!

We absolutely loved this condo! The view was absolutely incredible! The convenience of having the pool, exercise room, restaurants, and so much more made this trip one to remember. Chris was very easy to work with and made sure our stay was top-notch! The condo was very clean and modern. Unfortunately, we had to end our stay short because of an emergency, but we will return soon! First time staying here and it didn’t disappoint. I will be recommending this condo to my friends and family!

Great lake views!

This nicely updated condo with stylish decor and furnishings was plenty spacious for 2 & had amazing lake views. The bed was very comfortable & the room darkening curtains were much appreciated. The tile & stone walk-in shower was definitely a highlight of this unit. The 4 sets of sliding glass doors provide amazing lake views from all rooms. The courtesy docks just a short walk from the condo were perfect for our boat & we enjoyed both beach areas close to the condo. We enjoyed our stay here & would definitely stay here again!

Wonderful stay

My wife and I stayed there for our birthday weekend. Checked in Friday and checked out on Sunday. Communication with the owner was awesome! He was very responsive. The condo was beautiful, inside and out. The view was amazing. I wish we could have stayed the whole week and done more things, checked out more of the amenities. I don’t know how we could have been happier.

The condo was fantastic. Spotless, comfortable bed, towels and sheets smelled amazing. The kitchen was one of the best I have ever stayed in from VRBO. Well stocked, great amenities. Chris was easily accessible when I had questions. He responded quicker than the normal homeowner of others we have dealt with. We definitely will rent again for the Summer experience.

I grew up on the weekends and summers at SML and am just totally in love with the lake. Getaway time is a special thing and we strive to do everything possible to make your experience awesome.

Why they chose this property

We purchased this condo turnkey, however I redecorated it with a modern feel by replacing the furniture and artwork. I additionally added quite a bit to the kitchen for guests such as a wine fridge and Keurig. Think new and modern! Well, the view speaks for itself and the porch is outfitted for hanging out or dining. Lastly, the technology has been completely replaced from the TVs to the thermostat. Netflix streaming is available on both large flat panel TVs. The latest and greatest tech!
