Peninsula Paradise – Closest Waterfront at Bernard’s Landing

When you walk into our lakefront condo, you will find your piece of paradise. You will be “wowed” by the gorgeous wide water and mountain views. You can't get any closer or have easier access to the water than with our ground floor unit.

Our condo is located in the Peninsula Towers building. The paint colors, pictures, and accessories in our updated condo create a relaxing vacation look and feel inside. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you could possibly need. Linens are also provided.

The condo has two bedrooms – the master has a King bed and the other has two Twin beds. Each room has flat screen smart TVs. The new Samsung 55 inch smart TV in the living area also has a Bose sound bar. We offer an upgraded Wi-Fi connection (300 mbps through Shentel - faster than the standard speed at other units) and a great collection of movies, board games, puzzles, etc.

Unlike many other rentals that are strictly for investment purposes and rarely used by their owners, we use our condo regularly during all seasons and we go the extra mile to keep our unit very clean, well maintained, stocked, and comfortable for ourselves and our guests. We spent many summers living in this condo full time and made sure we had all the conveniences of our full time home while there. If you rent our Peninsula Paradise, you will not want to leave this vacation “home away from home.”

This is a ground floor unit, however, there are 10 steps from parking lot to the condo front entry and 17 steps from the condo down to the courtesy boat slips. See photos.

Our unit sleeps a MAXIMUM of 4 people over the age of six years old per Franklin County transient occupancy rules.

You are welcome to bring your own boat to leave at the courtesy boat slips. You will need to get a guest boater decal from Bernard's Landing for your boat and trailer ($20/day.)

The resort is conveniently located a short 10-13 minute drive to the Westlake and Bridge Point Plaza areas where you will find a variety of restaurants, quaint specialty stores, grocery & drug stores, putt-putt, game arcade, and a movie theater.

ADDITIONAL: If you don’t have a boat, you can view the lakefront scenery and million dollar homes from the Virginia Dare, a 19th century side paddle wheeler, which offers cruises on the lake. There is plenty to do at Bernard’s Landing, but if you want to venture out, sightseeing options include wineries, the Smith Mountain Dam Visitors Center, the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, Booker T. Washington National Park, Smith Mt. Lake State Park, Transportation Museum in Roanoke, or the Peaks of Otter near the Blue Ridge Parkway.
