Fantastic apartment, great location, my partner loved the big sash windows looking down onto the market place. We stayed two nights as we were attending pub in the park with just a ten minute walk to the event in verulanium park.
Fantastic location right in the centre of St.Albans . Have stayed here several times with no problems, the new bathroom is lovely , photos are accurate.Elisa is an experienced and professional host and I will return .
All communication was great, the flat is in a great location and was very clean and tidy.It had everything we needed.Elisa was great to deal with, friendly and helpful.
We absolutely loved our stay in St Albans, close to shops, restaurants and pubs. Host was responsive and helpful in getting us an extra fan. Hope to be back back soon.
Mostly as described . Easy to book and helpful host. Great location. Weather exceptionally hot. Would be helpful to be able to open bedroom windows as fans had a limited effect in cooling the bedrooms.
Recently refurbished flat in the city centre, excellent location. The heating worked really well, nice bathroom, good apartment size. The windows have not been refurbished yet, which meant that some of them could not be opened. There was some dust everywhere. We had a wonderful stay though and would choose this place again.

Unfortunately one of the worst places we've stayed in (left after one night of a two night stay)- property was dirty throughout (kitchen shown in photos) and our infant essentially ended up being a duster for the floor. All crockery needs washing before use.- kettle was broken - TV turned on sporadically (thats being kind - turned on once)- hot water was v limited - one shower and then cold water for the next 12 hours- not possible to open windows in bedroomsGreat location but there will be many better options (including basic Premier Inn which was cheaper and cleaner)

location is amazing if you want to be right in the heart of town. When I checking in, I noticed a bad smell, After 2 days of the shower not draining correctly I pulled the cover and unclogged all the hair in the drain. The only windows on property that open are the 2 facing the street, so to get any airflow you need to leave them open all night, but the bars are just below and noisy until 1 or 2 in the morning. I reached out to the property manager about not being able to open the bedroom windows, she said this was a common complaint, but the owners had not fixed it yet. There were a number of other things that annoyed me, but I would have overlooked if I could have opened the windows, got some cooler air and slept. I actually checked left a day early and spent the night in a hotel so I could sleep. Additionally the TV did not work. So all in all, I wouldnt stay there again if it was free.
The communication from Elisa was excellent. The building is listed, so modern conveniences like a lift/elevator or air conditioning is not allowed to be installed. The apartment is on the top floor, so for Americans the 2nd floor is actually the 3rd floor - keep that in mind when hauling luggage. It was unseasonably hot in England when we went - so although 3 fans were in the apartment - it was not enough. We were able to open two windows, which did help to circulate the air. Keepin mind this apartment is very close to the Clock Tower, the bell does chime until midnight - if it chimed passed midnight I did not hear it again until the next morning. Also because we had the windows open, we did hear the noise from the pub on the street below, the garbage men early the next morning and smelled loads food cooking from the various restaurants. We did decide to cut our losses and move to an air conditioned hotel down the street. I believe had it not been so hot we would have stayed. There were a few issues with some of the cleanliness of areas, and I believe Elisa would have had it sorted had we stayed. I do wish it had not been so hot because we were looking forward to cooking our own meals and enjoying some of the offerings of M&S food hall.
