Fireplaces: *On During: October 1st - April 1st
Common Concerns: *Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins requires a 4-wheel drive under normal weather conditions, but some do in inclement weather. *TV & WiFi: We do have TVs and WiFi in most of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem. *Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Fall/Winter is ladybug season in the Smokies, and these little buggers are attracted to heat, meaning your cabin and every other one out there that is warm! They will swarm to the cabin, and you'll probably see them alive/dead on windowsills, in vents, etc. Rest assured that your cabin has regular pest control and is professionally cleaned, including bug removal, before and after your stay. However, these bugs come back right away, and unfortunately, there is nothing that can be done about them until the season passes. Please never feed, taunt, or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors. *There are no refunds for storms or power outages. If there is a power outage, there will be no water and potentially no heat. Storms can also make roads impassable, so if a storm is in the forecast during your reservation, come prepared with water and non-perishable food, etc.
FEES: The management company of this cabin charges a $20 per stay Damage Waiver Fee to every customer. It is automatically included in your rate. This covers our guests for up to $350 worth of accidental damage should damage occur during their stay. If damage occurs to the cabin, furnishings, etc, please report it to management as soon as possible so that the damage can be repaired. You may opt out of paying the $20 damage waiver fee by putting down a $350 REFUNDABLE damage deposit.
✨ Peace of Mind & Travel Insurance: I want your stay to be stress-free and enjoyable. Please note that this home has a strict cancellation policy. Because life can be unpredictable, we encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance for extra peace of mind. This way, you can book with confidence knowing you’re protected no matter what comes up. This can be done at www.insuremytrip.com where you can pick the coverage that suits your situation.

Heavenly View is an appropriate name for sure! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cabin. From the time we booked our stay, we were kept informed of everything that was expected of us and what we were expected to find as well as what we needed to bring. We were not disappointed. If we could’ve stayed longer, we would have! Thank you for making our stay so memorable.

The name says it all!
Nice cabin. There is a big deck that runs down one side of the cabin. The view from this deck is spectacular. The furnishings and decor were nice.

The house had a musty smell and was not well dusted. We love the neighborhood and enjoyed the location but would have preferred a cleaner house.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the neighborhood and location! We’re very sorry to hear about the musty smell and dust, as cleanliness is extremely important to us. We’ve addressed this with our cleaning team to ensure it doesn’t happen again. We truly appreciate your comments and hope you’ll consider staying with us again for a much-improved experience.
We had a great time. The location of the cabin was very good for the places we wanted to visit.
The cabin was sufficient for the four adults. Everything we needed was provided in the cabin. There were a few maintenance issues that should be addressed and better cleaning could have been done. There are a few things that can be changed to make the cabin better.
We loved our stay at the cabin! Great location close to the National Park. The view was beautiful. We took advantage of sitting in the rocking chairs on the deck. Cabin was super cozy. Rustic but updated. The only thing we didn't love was the bed upstairs was a little mushy for my taste and shower upstairs is tight. But otherwise its a perfect place for a couple, 2 couples or a family of 4 to feel comfortable. Hot tub was great too! Only regret is not staying longer!
The most beautiful place I have stayed. The cabin is loud inside but it's expected. The heat upstairs is not great but it was great in the down stairs bedroom.
The name is very fitting. The view from the deck is beautiful. The cabin is a great value and is tastefully decorated. The beds were very comfortable, the hot tub was very relaxing and nice. We were able to extend our stay with a phone call to the office. I would suggest that the stove needs updating but it was certainly usable. The buttons on the stove do not seem to be accurate. All in all a really nice experience.
This was, by far, our most favorite place we've stayed. It was perfect!

Gorgeous Seclusion
Beautiful secluded location with a great view. Gorgeous log cabin with privacy. Cabin had everything we needed for all accommodations. Hot tub was a nice touch. Having access to golf course pool was a great benefit to have with the hot temps every day. Nice place but does needs some TLC/attention (which we have sent to property manager)!

Stunning view but....
Stunning view but this cabin needs some serious updates. Broken latch on patio slider, refrigerator door closing improperly and bottom shelf of door unusable due to breakage which were both reported to management which said they were aware of patio slider! If you want very basic living this is for you-very little kitchen storage available and no light over stove area which made cooking difficult. Have been coming to Townsend and renting cabins for 26 yrs. and this one was a disappointment.
With Covid19, was supposed to stay in April, had to reschedule to June. They were really understanding, and helpful. This was our first time staying in a cabin, on Townsend side. Very nice and peaceful. Will be staying again.
Great view of the mountains and far enough away from other cabins to feel secluded. Rustic cabin feel with Internet. A big couch to relax and watch college football. Cozy beds and a relaxing hot tub. Upstairs shower was small. Hot tub jets would not turn on above low. Could not find trash point despite reading the directions. I think a map of where trash point would’ve been helpful. Overall nice place to stay.
