First and foremost our host Linda was amazing! The cabin is absolutely stunning, very clean, very comfortable. Two good size parking spots. Hot tub is amazing. The location was perfect. Townsend is a relatively quiet town with a close commute to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Great restaurants and activities all around.

Thank you Erica. It was a pleasure to have you stay.
Nice stay at this cabin. The cabin was in a great location, clean, and nicely decorated. Communication through emails was timely and informative. We would stay there again.
The property was in a perfect location with easy access and a peaceful atmosphere. We were close enough to popular activities that the drive was enjoyable and hassle free but far enough away to be separated from all of the hustle and bustle. Would definitely book this awesome property again!
The cabin was exactly as pictured. Beautiful neighborhood. Loved the back covered decks. Loved the 2 King bedrooms. Felt very private but still close to restaurants/grocery. Would definitely stay again.
Clean and cozy, in a nice neighborhood up in the mountains of Townsend. Great for 4-6 people. Beds were comfortable and plenty of amenities. The pool table, game cabinet, and hot tub were very nice for relaxing at the end of the day. Good location, within 45 minutes of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Tail of the Dragon.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful mountain retreat!
We an amazing weekend getaway at this beautiful mountain home in Townsend. The location was perfect, tucked away in the mountains yet close to Gatlinburg for easy access to attractions like Cades Cove and Cligman’s Dome. The home was set up perfectly for our family, with plenty of space and all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay, making us feel right at home. Overall, it was a fun-filled weekend filled with unforgettable memories with family.
You have a very cute and spacious cabin. It was great for the 5 of us as we all had our own space. The hot tub was nice after our long days. There was not a need or a want while we were there. While this trip was for a funeral, we will be back for vacation time soon. When we come back, we will be sure to book this cute place again!
The property was perfect for a short vacation with my sister and dad. We each had our own level and our own bathroom. Unfortunately neither my husband or brother in law could make it but there would have been plenty of space for all five of us if they had been able to come. The clubhouse pool was a great amenity.

Golf outing
Golf course and club could use some upgrading. Process of picking cabin could be improved like “forest view, valley view, golf course view, Mountain View”. Cabin needs more lighting.
We are four seniors traveling together. Our first impression of this cabin was that it was very clean inside. This property is in the Laurel Valley development in Townsend, TN. This is a great location as it is far enough away from things to be relaxing, but close enough to Cades Cove, Wears Valley, Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg by driving beautiful roads. There is a bedroom and full bathroom on each of the three levels. If you can do stairs, this provides three private areas. The main bedroom is on the entry level and would only require the three steps into the cabin. The neighborhood is quiet. We found several restaurants in Townsend or Wears Valley. We enjoyed our time there.
Loved that it was not in the middle of all of the chaos. Nothing terrible about it. Could be cleaner before someone checks in but that goes with the territory. Loved that there was a porch on each level. Door to cover the downstairs was a life saver since we had a baby with us. Truly thankful for a great place to stay and it being so home feeling.
The cleaning crew could be a little more thurough with there process, there were cobwebs throughout the house in various places and bathrooms were not well cleaned or maintained. The dryer did not work and when the host was contacted, their response was 'thanks for letting us know.' Not a big deal, but if someone was relying on it, it would be frustrating. The drive to the house is VERY steap, just be prepared. All in all, the location was nice, views were breathtaking, the staff at the gold course were nice, and our group had a great time!
The property and cabin are lovely and located in a beautiful neighborhood with tree top views. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with cooking pans and dishes. Great that each room has its own bathroom. The hot tub was awesome and the club pool was great too. The cons: we were unable to use the large patio because the furniture was dirty with bird poop, dirt and fungus mushrooms, growing on one table. We were going to clean it ourselves, however, the paint finish was really rough and needs to be repainted so we didn’t want to take the chance of making the paint finish worse. We reached out to the property manager, who replied telling us that she left the house cleaners know but we were never contacted. This limited the areas that we could play with our grandson. We were unable to find any nearby park to play with him. The dresser drawers in the master smelled like mildew so we couldn’t put our clothes in them. The extra pillows provided in the closets felt dusty and there were no extra linens to put on them. We were granted two rolls of toilet paper for each bathroom and two bath towel sets for each bathroom. The last thing I want to do when I stay five nights somewhere is to go to the store for toilet paper or wash laundry. With a hot tub and pool available it makes sense to provide additional towels for those amenities. My overall review is that this is a really great place that is being poorly managed/maintained.

The place was lovely but dealing with the management company was enough to take away from the enjoyment of our time there. There was very little information on the VRBO site and nothing to indicate that we would have multiple emails from the separate management company to deal with. This resulted in sitting on the porch in the dark on the day of check-in and being told that I had to sign a contract before I could get the code to enter. I had no choice on whether or not to agree to the terms in the contract because VRBO already had my money and once I hit reserve, there was no way to cancel for a full refund. For all this rigmarole we had to go through, there were no instructions for how to use anything. Just warnings about how much we would be charged if we messed it up (for example failing to refill the hot tub above the jets would result in a fine, but no instructions were given regarding the fact that the hose faucet was on a different level than the hot tub. It took us probably an hour to figure out how to refill it.) The wifi password was wrong. The fireplace did not work, and there were no instructions to explain anything. In spite of a hefty cleaning fee, there was hair all over the shower/bathtub, and several of the bulbs were burnt out. I don't expect perfection when I rent a vacation home, but if you are going to demand such high standards from your guests, you should hold yourself to that same high standard.

When a guest books they immediately receive information via e-mail that clearly states that access to the property is sent the day before check-in after the rental agreement is signed along with other information and rules. Guests have 48 hours after receiving this information to decide if they want to stay or cancel their booking for a full refund. On that same day, guests receive an e-mail with a link to e-sign the rental agreement. Our software shows that multiple e-mails were sent to you over several days requesting for the rental agreement to be signed and we have the time and day those e-mails were opened. On the day of check-in you contacted us BEFORE arriving at the cabin saying you were 20 minutes from arriving asking for access to the cabin. We told you access is granted after the rental agreement is signed and you did "find" those e-mails and signed the rental agreement and the access information was sent. We wanted to make sure you got in o.k. so we reviewed the entry camera and saw you pull up with the information to access the cabin. We also observed more than the maximum allowed at the property and staying overnight which we assume that may have been the reason to avoid signing the rental agreement because the agreement states we may ask renters to leave who exceed the maximum allowed or lose their security deposit. The decision was made not to disturb you and allow you to stay without an extra charge. The instructions about filling the hot tub are in the information that is sent to the guests on the day of booking and in the access instructions. The internet instructions are also included in the communications sent via e-mail and states the password is all lower case. We have not heard from anyone who could not access the internet The fireplace is not turned on until November. We did pass on your comments to the cleaners about the light bulbs and "hairs" you say you found because keeping the property in a clean and rent ready condition is a top priority. We didn't hear from you during your stay but we do appreciate you sharing your experience.
We really enjoyed our stay. The hot tub was amazing after a long day. The cabin was very spacious and so cute! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
