Manini Point House at Kealakekua Bay is a perfect home for your friends' and family's summer vacation! Enjoy a quick walk to Manini Beach for a daily snorkel adventure, to just hang out, or have a picnic without parking issues. Walk to Keei Beach to watch the surfers and enjoy white sandy beaches. Walk to Napoopoo Beach and learn about Hawaii's heritage. Visit Puuhonua O Honaunau our National Park right next to Two Step, one of the Big Island's favorite places to snorkel to see beautiful fish and occasional dolphins! This beautiful home, Manini Point House, is located in a small walking village and just a 2 minute walk away is Manini Beach! Fun, friendly, an entry for children. In the evening, just walk to the shoreline and watch the sunset at Manini Beach. Reserve a kayak or stand up paddle board a walk away, to paddle to Captain Cook monument! An adventure in hiking is available at the top of Napoopoo Road to Kealakekua Bay where you will experience a challenging trail. Coral spawning is going on at Kealakekua Bay and Honaunau Bay to help restore the reefs and to preserve these uniquely special spots on Hawaii Island.
In addition to its perfect location, Manini Point House offers a home away from home. The lanai is comfy for lounging and enjoying meals together, enjoying books available, or sitting at the koa bar to chat with folks while cooking or snacking in the kitchen. The Sunday Green Market nearby offers fresh caught fish to barbecue in the comfort of your home as well as fresh vegetables, fresh cooked desserts and snacks as well as exquisite jewelry, Enjoy the private suite balcony at Manini Point House. Each of the three bedrooms has a comfy queen-size bed. Two full baths and the suite shower with two separate shower heads give you 3 places to shower. And, you will love the outdoor shower after the beach to clean up and hang out your towel. The kitchen is open to the living room and is equipped for sharing your culinary talents and cooking meals together. WIFI is throughout this home. Lounge on the lanai, in the living room or any room to catch up with friends. A little work to do? A small office is available.
World famous Kealakekua Bay is a marine sanctuary and historical site known for its clear waters, coral reefs and diverse marine life including unusual fish, dolphins, and seasonal humpback whales. You may be swimming with dolphins nearby or sighting migrating whales during the winter months! The surrounding mountain views are lovely. Snorkeling will give you a close up view of yellow tang, convict fish and others, swimming and paddle boarding are perfect exercise as you take off for the monument, for a wonderful adventure, To enjoy Kealakekua Bay, you can snorkel from Manini Beach, tour Kealakekua Bay on a kayak, or hike to Captain Cook Monument on a challenging hiking trail and then take a dip in the ocean.
Ho'okena, a community and snorkeling swimming spot is on your way to visit Volcano National Park. Don't miss the frequent dolphins' visit! Looking for memorabilia? Puuhonua O Honaunau, Hawaii's National Park offers a great little store with favorite Hawaiian gear, puzzles, clothing, and books about old Hawaii.
