We enjoyed staying at the cottage and would like to come back - which is a pretty good recommendation. We were very lucky with the weather and really enjoyed the garden space which was large enough to play racket/ball games and eat in the evening. It was a short walk down to the beach. I noticed someone else complained about the busy road and no pavement. The cottage is in Cornwall, I don’t know what they expected. The road was fine, not particularly busy and no-one in our group had any issues with road users Liz it’s such a short distance to walk. The kitchen was well equipped. The showers were clean and worked well. The beds were comfortable. The only slightly negative feedback was that the coffee table took up too much room in the living/diner once we had pulled the dining table out to eat round.

Perfect for 3 couples

Building work was going on in the property next door which woke us up every weekday morning at 8 am. despite assurances that there was no building in progress. The road to the beach was quite treacherous as there was no path and very busy with cars both ways.

Hello Jane - we understood the works to be complete at the detached neighbouring properties, which is why you would have received that response. As you can appreciate we have no control over eternal factors outside the property such as building works nearby. We are very sorry to hear that this affected your stay. Harlyn Bay Road - does not benefit from a path/pavement - and it can get busy especially during peak weeks with beachgoers on foot and cars alike. We shall update our listing for future guests to make them aware. We hope we have an opportunity to welcome you back to Cornwall again in the future and appreciate your feedback.
