Situated in the charming village of Yoxford, 5 Mill Cottage is a beautifully renovated period cottage full of character and comfort. With oak shutters and thoughtful touches throughout, it’s the perfect retreat for couples or families looking to explore Suffolk’s heritage coast.
Inside, the cosy living room features a wood-burning stove, ideal for relaxed evenings all year round. The stylish kitchen is well-equipped for preparing meals, while the dining area provides a warm and inviting space for sharing them. Upstairs, you'll find two comfortable bedrooms: one with a double bed and another with twin beds, making it ideal for both couples and small families. Outside, the enclosed garden is a lovely spot to unwind, complete with a patio area, outdoor seating, perfect for al fresco dining in the warmer months. Ideally located between Southwold and Aldeburgh, 5 Mill Cottages is just five miles from Dunwich beach and within easy reach of Snape Maltings, RSPB Minsmere, and many scenic walking and cycling routes through Suffolk’s coast, heath, and woodland. Yoxford itself, known as the Garden of Suffolk, has a grocer, two pubs, and a selection of antique shops. The village also hosts a well-regarded arts festival each August. With Darsham station just a mile away, and easy access to the A12, it’s a fantastic base for discovering the area.

Entrance is through the kitchen that contains a dishwasher, washing machine, and full-height larder fridge and freezer. There is an electric cooker, hob and a microwave.

The dining room has a table and bench seating for six guests, a radio and a chest of drawers.
Sitting room
With a sofa that seats two, a coffee table, a second sofa that seats three, a wood-burning stove, a television, and front door.
Bathroom
The bathroom is accessed through the dining room. This is a modern bathroom with an electric waterfall walk-in shower, bath, wash basin, and WC, along with a heated towel rail.
First Floor:
Master bedroom
With a double bed, matching bedside tables and lamps, a chest of drawers and a mirror.
Bedroom two
With two single beds, a chest of draws, small television and DVD player and a built in cupboard.
Outside:
There is a patio area in the rear garden with a table and chairs for six guests. There is a further patio area with a coffee table and seating for four guests.
