The Powys Lodge is set within a beautiful, wooded valley within the aptly named Woodlands Park Resort, a beautifully well-kept lodge resort on the sublime coastline of Cardigan Bay and near the quaint hamlet of Gilfachrheda.

There is a well-equipped kitchen which is great for whipping up a holiday feast and dining al fresco.

Two stylishly decorated bedrooms, both with their own Freeview TVs and en-suites, means you’re guaranteed a comfortable night’s sleep, leaving you well-rested to carry on your adventures the next day. Patio doors, from the living area and both bedrooms, lead out onto the decking and garden area, equipped with plenty of seating for enjoying a morning cup of coffee or simply enjoying the sunshine. Enjoy views from the decking overlooking a stream and woodland area.

The Powys Lodge is a short distance into the seaside resort of New Quay complete with a pretty harbour, coffee shops, restaurants, and a picture postcard beach ideal for swimming, relaxing or enjoying a stroll on the golden sands. A must for every visitor is a boat trip from the harbour around the bay for a closer encounter with the seals and dolphins that this area is famous for.

Take a trip north to the Georgian harbour town of Aberaeron with colourful houses, café and restaurants or head over to Penbryn Beach, a truly beautiful beach, for a day of sand, sea and hopefully sun! Whether you decide to explore this wonderful area on foot, by bicycle or by car, you are sure of a fun-filled day out with plenty to do for the whole family.
