There was no pool. The place was beautifully set and the amenities were all good. Our host was very responsive and we had a wonderful meal catered and cooked by the owner's son, who is a professional chef. For our purposes, where were to spend a lot of time in Florence, the location, at least an hour's complicated drive from old city, was not ideal. But that is not a negative comment on the place itself.

We had a wonderful stay here! Beautiful home with every comfort and convenience we needed. The view from the bedroom is breathtaking. Everything worked including nice cool air conditioning which is a must for us. The bathroom had plenty of space for my husband and I to share. We loved the cooking class with the talented chef and he even left us with a few things we could make ourselves so we enjoyed a romantic evening cooking dinner together. It was everything I had pictured and our favorite stay in Italy! To see the tourist stuff in Florence, it is a little over 25 minute drive but worth it to get out of the city and really enjoy the beautiful countryside. My only regret is we couldn’t stay longer! Thank you to our wonderful host and family!
