At Crooklets Beach, just 1.5 miles away, there’s more golden sand and plenty of rock pools to explore, and both beaches are excellent for surfing. For those who love walking, the 3-mile coastal stroll to Widemouth Bay has spectacular views, while the more challenging hike around Hartland Quay (16 miles) offers dramatic cliffs and hidden coves. If you feel like heading out, Clovelly, Boscastle, Tintagel, and Hartland Abbey and Gardens are all within 20 miles.
The detached, two-storey house sits on a large plot and has been carefully designed to offer guests everything necessary for a stress-free stay. From the handsome hallway, pass into the impressive lounge, a beautiful space with a wooden floor and pale walls creating a tranquil atmosphere. Snuggle into the corner sofa, light the wood burner for glowing warmth after a day outdoors and switch on the Smart TV to enjoy your favourite shows. Another lovely place to relax is the light-filled conservatory, with plush seating for anyone who feels like some quiet time. The elegant kitchen has plenty of space and all the appliances the cook will need. The breakfast bar is a lovely spot for a quick coffee or an evening drink, perhaps while assisting with some food prep. When you’re ready to sit down together for a feast, the dining room has a table for ten and, like the kitchen, doors that open to the patio. Completing the ground floor are the utility room and a large wet room with luxurious tiling.
