Number Two Aberdour - Pretty Village nr Edinburgh
Number Two is a comfortable apartment in Aberdour, a pretty little coastal village with it's 12th century castle (Outlander Film location) and award-winning beaches. We have 2 bedrooms, the Master bedroom with king-size bed that can be converted into 2 singles, the 2nd bedroom has 2 full-size bunkbeds. We also have a sofabed in the livingroom that is available on request, as well as a travel cot. We can host 6 people.
Aberdour has good transport links with Edinburgh and has a variety of eating places, a pub and a number of cafes, play parks, beautiful sensory garden, interesting shops, Golf Club with a restaurant and a pretty train station.
We are happy to take enquiries for longer stays.
Sorry NO pets as we guarantee a pet-free environment for allergy sufferers.
For 0ne-night bookings we have to add a single-night supplement of £100.

Why they chose this property
Aberdour is a very friendly little village on the Fife coast. The area is rural and beautiful, but also within easy access of Edinburgh. You can just jump on a train to get straight into the city centre.
Aberdour is on the Fife Coastal Path which passes about 5 min walk from the apartment. It is a fab route and you can easily walk part of it and return back to the apartment by public transport.
Aberdour has 2 beautiful beaches that are very popular, especially when it's sunny. Silversands Beach and Blacksands Beach are popular with wild swimmers and families. We are very lucky in that we often see seals. Dolphins, porpoises and whales can occasionally be spotted as well. You are best to join one of the local facebook groups for alerts.
Aberdour Castle is a very popular attraction and St. Fillan's Church is worth a visit, too.
There are a few interesting shops in Aberdour selling local souvenirs and the specialist Drinks Cabinet is very popular with the Aberdour Gin.
There is lots to do for children: several playparks, beaches, Sensory Garden, woodland walks, etc.
The annual Aberdour Festival is a great event. Make sure you book accommodation well in advance.
