Welcome!

Tastefully decorated and offering a cosy, comfortable indoor environment, this cottage comprises a bright living room with two sofas, a western wall all in glass facing amazing ocean views, and a dining table.

The kitchen includes appliances, essential cookware, and crockery to fulfil any culinary requirement. A washer is available for your laundry needs.

Walk up the wooden stairs and find a dazzling open-space bedroom with a queen-size bed overlooking the ocean.

Upstairs, another unique glass-enclosed bathroom allows you to use your bathtub while feeling immersed in the nature around you!

There are two houses in the property. The car entrance and the garden are shared.

Please note that access to the property is via a narrow ramp with a slight, sharp bend. We advise you to rent a small car. Our entrance is narrow, but you can see in the photos my huge pick-up 4*4, which is 5,2m long * 1,85m wide, coming down from the houses. You can always leave the car by the road if you don't want to drive up.

The cottage is always professionally cleaned for your comfort.

São Miguel, the largest island in the Azores archipelago, is a haven of lush landscapes, volcanic lakes, and coastal charm. Often called “The Green Island,” it offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and cultural richness. From the stunning crater lakes of Sete Cidades and Lagoa do Fogo to the geothermal wonders of Furnas, São Miguel is made for nature lovers and explorers.

The island is dotted with charming towns like Ponta Delgada, where historic streets meet modern cafés, markets, and a vibrant marina. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the scenic hiking trails, black sand beaches, hot springs, and whale-watching opportunities. With its peaceful villages, friendly locals, and breathtaking views around every corner, São Miguel is a tranquil and unforgettable escape.

The property is easily accessible by car.

Ponta Delgada airport is a 39-minute drive from the property.

A greeter will meet you at the building for a personal check-in. Check-in can be done from 4 PM, pending availability and confirmation.

Once a reservation is confirmed, guests are requested to complete a guest registration form following the legal obligations stipulated by local authorities in Portugal.

There is a zero-tolerance policy for smoking on the property. If our team discovers evidence that this rule has been breached (e.g., smoke smell, ashes, butts, etc.), we fully reserve the right to charge a €200 smoking fee at minimum.

Please note that for stays longer than 30 nights, a fair use policy of the utilities will apply with a limit of 80€.

For the first days, we provide the basic amenities: samples of shower gel, shampoo, soap, toilet paper, kitchen roll, sponge, dishwashing products and bin bag.

Extra keys: 20€ (extra pair of keys when available, lost keys or service to open the door during your stay).
Extra cleaning with linen: the price of a cleaning fee.
Extra Clothing: 30€ (Towels and sheets for 2pax, i.e. when the sofa bed is not included).
