I recently stayed here with 4 of my friends. The host graciously allowed us to drop our luggage off early. When we arrived at the property with our luggage, we were informed that one of the bathrooms was not working and that the water and electricity to the bathroom had been shut off for maintenance. It was the only bathroom with a shower (the other bathroom had a tub). I did book this VRBO specifically because it had 2 bathrooms and we had 5 girls, BUT I understand that things can happen unexpectedly, so we moved on and said it was okay. We left to explore and came back that evening after dinner. When we returned, there was still trash in the very limited number of trash cans, including old pads from the previous clients. There was also half-eaten food left in the fridge. Of course, this was frustrating, but we cleaned it up and moved on once again. The final straw was when the first girl went to use the tub, and we realized there was NO hot water in the apartment. This was kind of my breaking point. We all took cold baths. It was awful. I contacted the host to inform them about this, and they basically told me to just leave a bad review. There was no apology, no offer for a partial refund, and really no care about our terrible stay. Thankfully, we only booked for one night, and we happily left the next morning. In hindsight, I wish they had informed us about the bathroom situation before we arrived because we likely would have taken our business elsewhere.

This does not reflect our usual standards, and we fully understand how unpleasant that must have been. Please be assured that this has been addressed with our cleaning team to prevent similar situations in the future. Regarding the bathroom, we appreciate your understanding. The issue was unexpected, but we are glad to inform you that it was resolved promptly. As for the hot water, we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused. When we checked the apartment the following day, we found that the boiler switch had been turned off. Had we been informed during your stay, we would have been able to assist you immediately and resolve the issue quickly. We regret that we were not able to provide you with the level of comfort and service we strive for, and we truly wish your experience had been a more positive one.
