Perfect all-season getaway! Storyland so close and Saco River a walk away!

Our home is the perfect vintage White Mountains retreat all year long!Nestled in the Valley, we feel it is just as much of an all season destination as the places you will visit while here.

This little cottage in the woods has everything you need! Master bedroom with queen bed, second bedroom with three beds, a loft bedroom with 3 cots, and a pullout couch for extra sleeping, in front of the big screen! Cozy up next to the woodburning stove in the lodge atmosphere of the bonus great room. Smart TV, wet bar and mini fridge for your enjoyment, but, the decor makes you feel like you stepped back into simpler times!

Thoughtfully detailed original local art & vintage artifacts flank the walls, honoring the history and nature of the beautiful White Mountains! The bathroom is spacious, with a stone floor walk-in shower. Complete kitchen with a gas stove, a coffee station (coffee pot), a crockpot and all cooking essentials (except the creature comfort of laundry).
For that, you will have to go to the local laundromat. Trash is guest responsibility. We provide bags but no trash collection in Bartlwtt.. Absolutely No cleaning FEE (save up to $200!)

Enjoy your view outside the sliders to the acres of forest behind you. An open floorplan including another tv, off the kitchen, completes the main space.

Out of respect for all our future guests, we ask no smoking and no pets. However, there are doggie daycare facilities close by!

Winter-
Ski Bretton Woods(18mi), closer -Cranmore Wildcat, King Pine and, of course, Attitash- 2.5 minaway!
Street is flat & large plowed driveway! SNOWMOBILE trails all around -Walk to the top of the street & rent some at NORTHERN EXTREMES. (Book ahead)

Summer/Fall
Warmer months of the year, enjoy coffee on the front porch and hear the distant whistle of the Cog train, play a game of cornhole on the lawn, or relax around the firepit out back. Walk to the river at night to take in a grand open view of our Galaxy!

Hike the Langdon Trails or float in the Saco River, just steps outside the door. Shopping & golf in North Conway is a 20 minute ride.
Closer attractions include Storyland, Jackson Falls, Diana's Bath, Echo Lake, Crawford Notch, Cog railroad and more!

So many wonderful restaurants/pubs too! Red Parka and Tuckerman’s are very close by. Walk to Cabin Fever for lunch! And for all your last minute needs, Bart's store and deli is only 2 minutes by car or a nice walk past the gazebo on 302! Bring your bikes, floats and river shoes and enjoy nature all around. You will not be disappointed!

Weekend Ski Trip

Another great stay at this property. The closeness to Attitash and Wildcat are great for skiing and we love the camp feel of the property! We’ll be staying again!

Just what we needed!

Such a great place to stay for a quick trip! Plenty of space and amenities- a home away from home! Great location for hiking, Santa’s Village and North Conway. Quiet neighborhood - kids were able to ride their bikes down to the Saco River!! Super pleased with our stay!

Gents Ski Trip

This house was awesome. Very cozy and the location is perfect to the mountains, rivers and towns. I would definitely recommend this place and will try to book again for our next ski trip.

Great long weekend

Our family of 5 loved the property! It was warm with the fire and the kids loved the bunk house above the fireplace room! Overall very clean and after 22 inches of snow the snow removal was done when we got back from skiing for the day! Great place and will definitely stay again!!!

Great House for Families

This home is so cozy and cute. We felt right at home. There is plenty of room for everyone to spread out and the kids loved the loft upstairs. The house is also filled with an assortment of games, books, and crayons for evenings or rainy days. We enjoyed staying here.

Where to next ?

Great jumping off point for all activities! Storyland< hikeing, Lost river, up to Santa's village , North Conway and dining . Bear Notch road is right there for traveling to the other side and the Lincoln area. We had a great time !!!

Charming home away from home

Our family of five stayed in this charming home for New Year’s weekend. Perfect location for skiing Attitash and enjoying all that North Conway has to offer. Tina the host was very informative and kept her home very cozy and charming with it’s winter rustic decor. We are looking forward to another stay at the end of the month.

Love the location

Beautiful house has everything to cook and the house decor is so pretty. Love the layout and the bathroom cobble stone floor. Echo lake and hiking was so close and North Conway for cute shops was about a 15 min ride. We will definitely be back.

Awesome location, fun house!

We had a great time staying in this quirky and cute house. I loved all the little details and the fact that it seemed like a home, not a rental. We went primarily for Story Land, which was an easy 10 minute drive, so we even came home for lunch and a break and then went back until it closed. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and Tina was so responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again and I'd love to check it out in the winter!

Nice Stay felt right at home.

We really enjoyed the house great location and very comfortable. It makes you feel at home on vacation. The house was clean and tastefully decorated & reflected the area. We spent the last two nights of our vacation at a hotel (the house was not available) and although it was a nice one we really missed the house. The owner communicated everything we needed to know in a timely manor. Thanks & we will be back!

Bartlett Vacation

Place was exactly as advertised. Very comfortable. We’ll stocked with everything we needed and then some. Location was perfect for us. Quiet neighborhood. Close to hiking trails, down hill and Nordic skiing. Short drive to town. Would have liked to stay longer but had commitments I could not cancel. Hope to stay here again in the future.

Great White Mountains location

The owners were incredibly responsive and easy to contact when we were concerned about a huge rainstorm and the house being close to the Saco River. It was nice to know we could reach out and get immediate reassurance and advice. The house is well located - an easy drive to several ski areas as well as all the activiites in North Conway. It was a very relaxing weekend.

Relaxing Bachelorette weekend by the lake

We stayed at this property for a cozy few days to celebrate an upcoming wedding. Property was everything we needed, true to listing, so convenient to many locations and the lake was just gorgeous. Kitchen and kitchenware could do with a deep clean as we were a group who liked to cook we ended up sanitizing kitchenware/spaces, especially as bugs can easily access. Host was so communicative and supportive and the kitty on property was an absolute joy. Would absolutely recommend.

Winter Vacation

Couldn’t be happier with our stay. We arrived late in the evening in a snow storm to find the driveway plowed, the heat set to a comfortable 65 degrees and the lights on. The owner was very helpful and amenable to everything. The property was well maintained and the property manager took care of snow removal promptly. Everything we needed was there for us. The location was ideal. X/C skiing and snowshoeing a short walk away. Definitely want to return.
