About this property
Charming Cotswolds Retreat in the Heart of Dursley
Welcome to our lovely three-bedroom home in the picturesque market town of Dursley, nestled on the edge of the Cotswolds. Ideally located for exploring the surrounding countryside, charming villages, and historic sites, it’s a perfect base for couples, families, and friends!
As you come inside, you will be welcomed by our cosy and characterful living room with a smart TV and a wood-burning stove – perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure! The kitchen is fully equipped and opens into a dining area where you can enjoy home-cooked meals (or a great takeaway if you're not in the mood for cooking!).
Upstairs, you'll find three charming bedrooms including two double rooms, and a cosy single, all with comfortable beds and fresh linens to ensure a restful night’s sleep.
The cottage is full to the brim with character, it's Grade II listed and Dursley town is thought to be named after the water that surrounds the cottage too! As one of the oldest standing buildings in Dursley apart from the church, it used to be a pub, nunnery and vets over the years and dates back to the 15th Century - it's well known in the area and in summer you'll often see people pass by and photograph it as it is part of the Dursley Heritage Trail!
Our home is right in the heart of Dursley’s town centre too, where you’ll find cafés, pubs, and independent shops. Nature lovers will appreciate the direct access to the Cotswold Way, while nearby attractions include Stroud, Tetbury, Westonbirt Arboretum, and Slimbridge Wetland Centre. Bristol, Bath, and Cheltenham are all easily accessible by car too if you want a great base to explore the local area!
Whether you're here for a country getaway, a walking holiday, or simply to unwind, our home offers a warm and welcoming place to stay.
*** Important: We are committed to protecting our homes and guests, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent ID verification as part of the booking process. It’s nice and easy - taking less than 5 mins to complete. ***

You will also be given the choice between paying a fully refundable deposit of £300 with a non-refundable admin fee of £6 or buying a non-refundable damage waiver of £25, which would protect you up to £300 of accidental damage during your stay.
