Pooley Bridge sits on the north eastern shores of Lake Ullswater, known as the most romantic lake in the Lake District. Being only a 15 minute drive from Penrith and the M6, it is easily reached and holidaymakers flock to the pretty village to admire the scenery, sit outside with a refreshing pint at one of the Inns serving locally brewed ales, enjoy afternoon teas on the banks of the river or to wonder around the shops. Home to the Ullswater Steamers, enjoy a leisurely cruise around the lake, jump off at Glenridding, Howtown and Aira Force to explore a different part of the lake or continue your journey on foot taking in part of the Ullswater way, a 20 mile circular route around the lake.

Being all ground floor, the bungalow provides spacious family accommodation perfect for those who struggle with stairs. Furnished and equipped to a high standard guests can relax in the spacious lounge, on warm, sunny days, open the picture windows framing the view over the garden to the river and bring the outdoors in or enjoy a glass of wine on the patio next to the river. Linger a while with a cuppa in the bright, sunny breakfast room and plan your days adventure. On the days you prefer not to cook in the well equipped kitchen, head into Pooley Bridge, a 2 minute walk and dine at one of the inns, cafes or bistro.

The bungalow has central heating and comprises: Lounge with picture windows looking out over the garden to the river, comfy sofas around the Smart TV and gas fire. Dining room. Kitchen equipped with double electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Utility room with washer/dryer. Breakfast room with dining table. Master double bedroom with king size bed, views to Ullswater and en-suite bathroom with shower cubicle, spa bath and WC. Double bedroom with views to Ullswater and en-suite shower room. Small twin bedroom (can convert to double bed on request) and en-suite shower room.
