The Bishop's Hermitage at Bishop's Ridge sits on 200+ acres in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, that is only 15 minutes from the historic Santa Fe Plaza.
Our hermitage is a simple and cozy efficiency, that has one queen size bed in the bedroom, a full bath, kitchen and small living area. A wonderful spot for a couple's weekend getaway, a longer tranquil retreat, or a place for study and quiet contemplation.

Located in Santa Fe, this cottage is in the mountains. De Vargas Street House and San Miguel Mission are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Santa Fe Botanical Garden and Santa Fe Children's Museum. Center for Contemporary Arts and Labyrinth are also worth visiting. Take in the nearby slopes with snowboarding and skiing, or try out other outdoor activities such as ice skating.
Exactly what I was looking for, clean rustic-style cabin off the beaten path. Quiet and had everything I needed, away the city lights for good star views. Plus it supported a non-profit and had great management. I didn’t ski but the app made me rate it.
Fantastic little cabin. Perfect spot for two people and two dogs. Cabin had everything we needed to make small meals and relax after adventuring around Santa Fe. Harry’s Roadhouse restaurant recommendation was A! Christoper was easy to communicate with.
Our stay at Bishops Ridge was comfortable and relaxing. It was a short scenic drive to town from Bishops Ridge that had amazing food. Our next visit to Santa Fe, we will definitely book this stay again.
The Bishop's Hermitage is a great place for a quiet, contemplative stay in the Santa Fe region. It has the all the amenities one needs for a comfortable visit. Christopher was very easy to work with and responded quickly to all communications. It's a bot remote, but I would stay here again.
This was easily one of the most incredible stays my wife and I have ever enjoyed. Across the board, top to bottom, this experience was unmatched. Christopher was a true delight and the accommodations were so much better than the photos showed. The Hermitage was immaculate and the view was beyond stunning. We had high expectations coming into this trip and the Hermitage exceeded every single one. We spent more time enjoying the property than we did Santa Fe. We can’t recommend this highly enough. Take a trip just to stay here.
Our stay was exactly what was needed. Beautiful drive, nice, cozy and quiet area. The cabin is nice and clean with everything you need for an enjoyable few days. We will definitely be back.
Needed something near KOA where family was staying. This was perfect, quiet and comfortable! I would definitely stay here again. Much roomier than expected, and priced reasonably. Christopher is a great communicator and the property is well cared for.
Stayed 2 nights. The host was transparent about another group staying nearby for an activity. This was not a problem. The beds are comfortable and the cabin was kept cozy by the small space heater. Would definitely stay here again. Quiet, clean, peaceful, and comfortable.
The cabin was a perfect space to spend the weekend. It was a short beautiful drive outside of Sant Fe. Beautifully decorated and a full kitchen to cook our meals. In a quiet and peaceful area!
A simple cabin that made for a nice, quiet stay. We spent most of our time exploring the Santa Fe area, hiking, or riding bikes, but the Bishop's Hermitage was a great place to return each night. The grounds were fun to explore, especially with our dog, and the stars at night were amazing. We appreciated Christopher's recommendations prior to our stay (especially Harry's Roadhouse, only a 10 minute drive away).
Wife and I had a lovely quiet stay. Christopher was very helpful and responded quickly to our questions. Everything was well organized for our arrival. Definitely recommended!
This was our second stay at this property; enjoyed a snowy New Year's retreat away from the city. Very clean property and is only about 10 miles from downtown Santa Fe for museums, restaurants and shopping. Kitchen is generally well supplied with dishes and cabin has adequate towels, sheets and blankets. Enjoyed Netflix and walks on the camp grounds. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
