About this property
The Nest - pet friendly in Slad near Stroud
This grade II listed getaway is set within what was once a coach house to the manor next door. Tucked away it is secluded allowing you to get some peace and quiet. Catch a snippet of the view of the valley beyond as you retreat to your home amongst the trees.
The Nest is light and bright with gentle white décor highlighted with wooden details and natural textures. Beams adorn the high ceiling and rustic elements add interest. Each area is clearly defined with a fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, comfortable seating and double bed. The kitchen has an oven and hob, dishwasher and fridge and you can still enjoy your morning coffee using the Nespresso machine. A rustic table is the centre of the dining area and there is space to invite friends over for lunch. At the heart of The Nest, the sitting area has a corner sofa and armchair alongside the smart TV and a quirky round window which looks through the trees. Nestled behind the seating is a double bed, made for long lie ins your partner might even treat you to breakfast in bed if you're lucky.
Outside you can breathe in the fresh air sat at two director-style chairs as you sip champagne. Take the dogs for walks around Rodborough Common in Stroud, visit The Woolpack for drinks or a meal or follow a section of the Cotswold Way as it passes through Painswick.
