This is a really lovely property in a great location. It’s tucked away enough that it’s great for a romantic getaway, and close enough that you can venture down to Lynton & Lynmouth for an explore. We had some trouble booking on a different website (booking . com) but the hosts were so quick to respond and so friendly that we were completely sold on booking the property. The inside is clean, and very thoughtfully done up, and the hosts had left some lovely touches for us. We ended up visiting with some crap weather and the shack was always warm, dry, and lovely for us. Just make sure to take your rain coat as our clothes struggled to dry in the shack when we got soaked through! I will say if you have any mobility issues climbing the ladder won’t be for you. If you can manage the ladder, it’s a perfect accommodation for a cosy, romantic getaway, and the hosts are extremely accommodating and kind.
the sheep were just outside the door !
for those wondering about accessibility, this is the view from the top bunk (with the bed). the ladder can be a bit heavy to manoeuvre. two able-bodied adults could get to the top rooms easily but it does require limb strength + mobility
